Nudists Invade Disneyland
Love Dland
| were going again the end of sept | |
| We have not been in quite some time. We decided because of our increase in family activities, around here, we decreased our Premium PassHolder passes to Delux...we hate BlackOut days! LOL Hoping me and the Prof can go again soon and enjoy an adult day at the Resort! We like going in and out of all the shops and as long as we get on Space Mountain...it's a good day! | |
| Must be crazy, but we are going to Disney World the fist week of June. Orlando in June. Humid and Hot. One park in the morning, then the water park, then back again after dinner until the fireworks are over. I am sure it is a popular pattern. I am listening if anyone has a winning schedule to beat the crowds that I haven't thought of. | |
| Years ago, the year after we discovered nudism on a vacation in the Canary Islands, we made our reservations at a nudist resort in Kissimmee, FL for a week. We told relatives we were going to Disney. We left out the nudist details when we described this great place we booked for the week. Half a dozen relatives thought it sounded so good that the invited themselves. We had to quickly find a textiled resort that matched what we had described in order to keep the peace. It was one of those things that we laugh about now. | |
| We still love Disneyland but ... their current price hikes on Annual passes priced us right outta the market! We purchase 10 annual passes a year. We buy them for everyone in the family with the exception of the youngest grandchild who is only 2. We are limited on which type of annual pass we can buy because of black out days, school schedules and sports schedules for our oldest grandchildren. We need the least amount of blackout day passes ... and those are either the Deluxe or Premium. At over $600 for a premium pass X's 10 ... ahhhh, not gonna happen! Deluxe passes aren't that much cheaper and when you get down to the So. Cal pass ... too many black out days. How has the increase in the annual pass prices affected some of the other nudist Disneyland lovers here? ;) | |
| I've been a Premium AP for nearly 20 years. Not this time. They have out priced me at $650 for the year. | |
| We were ALL Premiums for about 12 years ... then the prices increased ... seemed like annually and we began to cut back on the type of pass. This past year, my wife gave them all a certain amount of money to put towards their pass. One daughter and her kids opted for Legoland instead! We'd heard from a couple of people that have insider information and they stated that DLand oversold annual passes and they felt that AP holders don't spend the $$$ so they are weeding us out! Really p's me off that they did this but ... the family wasn't going as much as they needed to, annually, to substanciate the cost of a AP. :( | |
| We had premium passes for many years until the economy started to dive. We were there almost weekly. We could not afford the cost of the passes as they stand today, $650.00 per person and there are only the three of us. I agree there are too many blackout days for the So Cal passport. They did not make money off of us when we were there, we took lunch with us, bought drinks, but then we went over to Downtown Disney for dinner. Thankfully we have a dear friend that takes us 2 or 3 times a year, wife and son’s birthdays and at Christmas. | |
| We had our annual passes last year (it was my first one)and we were able to use it once for my birthday in 2011. Then my wife got sick and the year went by on raven's wings (they can bring signs of courage or failure, our case was courage. Now, she is beginning to feel like MAYBE she could go again but we won't get a pass this year. | |

| I just got back from a trip to Florida and visited the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT at Disney World. The crowds weren't too bad and the weather was bearable for a change (and the mosquitoes didn't feast on me). I still prefer Disneyland but I still had a great time and I do really love EPCOT. While in Florida we had a chance to visit Cypress Cove and LOVED IT!!!! Maybe we'll get a chance to go back again someday. |
