A Christchurch couple are one of five couples in with a chance of winning a $100,000 wedding.

There's just one catch - they have have to get married naked.

Not that Shane and Cherie seem to mind - they are at home in several photos, posing naked around Christchurch.

After receiving hundreds of entries from couples willing to grin and bare it, The Edge radio station has found the five couples who are now one step closer to being married naked for The Edge Nudie Nuptials.

The other finalists are are Mark and Holly from Kerikeri, Mat and Devon from Lake Hawea, Keith and Kate from Auckland and Andrew and Claire from Whangarei.

When asked why they are so keen to get married naked, Cherie said: ''It's just who we are. We love to do outrageous things and what a better way to start married life than this.''

It's up to New Zealand to decide who will tie the knot in the nude and the public can now vote online at www.theedge.co.nz.

Voting will close at 5pm onThursday, September 10, with the winning couple revealed on September 11. with The Edge Morning Madhouse.

The wedding will take place on September 24.
