Leave the shirt and shoes at home. A recent survey asked 1,882 U.S. adults what attribute they would consider extremely or very desirable in a leisure travel experience. Ten percent of them answered: a resort offering a "nude recreation experience."
What's more, it ranked higher than golf (8 percent), snowboarding/skiing (7 percent), hunting (7 percent), mountain biking (6 percent) and playing tennis (4 percent) in the 2009 National Travel Monitor from Ypartnership/Yankelovich.
Granted, 10 percent doesn't seem like a lot ? except with a U.S. population of about 305 million people, that adds up to about 30 million nudist-resort seekers.
