| Hi all, guess I'm the newest member here just having received approval today. I'm retired Air Force, Jan, 1970 - Feb, 1994. Assignments, in order were Tan Son Nhut AB, RVN, Alpena, MI, Tyndall AFB, FL, Lackland AFB, TX, Incirlik CDI, Turkey, Langley AFB, VA, Lackland AFB, Clark AB, RP, and March AFB, CA. I'm now and have been a Security Officer for a major Las Vegas Strip hotel/casino since Dec, 1993, having been a career Air Force Security Policeman. Sometimes I wish I had done the last 7 BUT because of situations that were going on at the time and with Pres Clinton paying us to get out, I took the plunge. Don't like to look back now because I kick myself for getting out BUT... I was at Lackland AFB, Tx, Chanute AFB, IL, RAF Upper Heyford, UK, Bergstrom AFB, Tx, Ramstein AB (left the day after the air show crash), RAF Fairford, UK, Laughlin AFB, Tx, and Shemya AS, (Eareckson AS, Ak name change while I was there) | |
