I know that there are only three of us in this group. I'm posting this in the hopes that someone who has done or is interested in nude fishing will join the group. Anyone in California want to join in?

Thank you for letting me join. I'm new to NCH and this group. I live in So. Cal and am looking for a lake to take my boat on or fish from shore to do/try nude fishing. None of my friends are nudists,so I'm on my own. Anyone know of a lake or stream that has good fishing?
Hey Folks, Surfcaster here(fish from the beach) all the way from a small island in the south pacific. Also known as new zealand. Fishing from the beach here can be good, or not. Chosing the right tide, phase of the moon can help, but the best way to catch fish is to have a hook in the water with some bait on it. Where I go fishing is about 20-25mins drive from home, and is usually deserted enough to go nude.

Is anyone else still fishing? I have been most weekends so far this summer(its summer down under) with varied results.

Not nude fishing then? How do you go about deciding when and where to go ice fishing? I know for my fishing from the beach, an incoming tide is good and change of light in the evenings/mornings is better. Combining the two is virtually a sure thing.

I head down for some relaxation, if I catch anything or not doesn't matter. Just some sun, a dip in the ocean is reward enough for being down there.
This past week has been absolutely awesome fishing. Last friday night went and fished the evening, caught a lovely snapper.

Saturday, just went to chill on the beach, caught quite a few snapper, but all just over the legal size, which I find too small for a meal. They were put back.

Then sunday morning, headed down again. Caught a whopper of a snapper. Some friends came to join me and we had a good catch of snapper and kahawai. With one large kahawai not putting up much of a fight, virtually swimming straight to shore. Once landed we saw why, a big gash down its side no doubt from a shark.

Monday after work some friends text and said lets go fishing, after some persuading I went along. WOW!! it was dead low tide, and the smaller bait fish had been herded into the shallows and were beaching themselves to the delight of the seagulls. Between four of us, we landed 12 kahawai, a snapper and a stingray in about an hour. Kahawai are excellent fighters and tend to jump during the fight, they are also very good eating.

The weekend is beckoning again and I'm looking forward to heading down the beach again. Although my friends know of my clothesfree habits, its not their thing, so when they come down I do slip on a pair of shorts. But on my own I'm nude.
