Donna and I are thinking about joining TNS because as someone who has received two tickets for nudity at trail 6 in San Onofre state beach this year we (I) have heard NOTHING from AANR reguarding the fight we're having to keep that beach clothing optional.

Nilo,
Don't blame AANR. Advisories have been all over the internet, from AANR, TNS. CFI, etc. to check a local site out there that is hosted by the Friends of San Onofre (I think), to keep up with the situation, which changes almost daily. I don't remember the internet address as I live in Michigan and don't expect to be anywhere near San Onofre any time in the foreseeable future.

Nilo,
That web site for checking on San Onofre is "friendsofsanonofre.org".
You should always check this site prior to going to that beach.

BigBare...
You are reading Nilo's post wrong. He and his wife have been long time visitors to San Onofre Beach, are members of two groups of nudists down there and he's well aware of ALL the updates on San Onofre Beach.

His complaint, like many other AANR members, such as my wife and I, is that AANR did nothing to help with the fight to keep San Onofre Beach...but on the contrary..."threw San Onofre under the bus" to try and broker a deal with the State Parks and Rec department to keep them from doing this to other beaches.

AANR agreed with CA state DPR's trumped up records and false reports about sexual activity on the beach, when in fact, ALL but one report was activity in the parking lot and NOT on the beach. The sole report on the beach was a call by naturists to remove an undesireable from the beach.

Nilo and his wife are very involved in what is going on down on the beach and is well aware of updates, who's helping the naturists on this issue and who is NOT (AANR)!

My apologies to Nilo. I was not aware that all this was going on. Now I pay the price of embarrassment for my ignorance. Open mouth, insert foot.
