 Nope! I enquired as to what the procedure was and started that topic in that direction.

Many naturist sites have no real way of confirming who the person is on the other side of the connection. I think NCH is trying to eliminate some of the anonymity that many naturist sites members use so they aren't recognized by someone else.

Becoming "verified", I think, means that your are willing to post a picture of your self, have someone on here (staff) look at you via web cam or in person and the person on your profile and avatar and "verify" you are who you say you are.

I've seen many people post pictures of "themselves"...only to then find the exact same picture on another site that has no correlation to naturism. One female on a particular site actually took a photo from a voyeur site and posted it on this site as herself. When questioned about it by Moderators...she left the site and hasn't returned.

 As Fireprof says,verification is to insure anyone who may want to contact you that you are who you say you are. It also may help if you send a friend request to someone. I have contacted unverified people, and was unverified myself until just recently, but I won't contact or respond to anyone who has a private profile, or one with no data on it. There are some people who come to this site just looking for kicks. Likewise with those who put up alluring photos but haven't logged in for a year or more and have no data in their profile.
