 I am just doing a brief survey to see how many members are not working or have retired from a career. It seems like the nationwide unemployment rate in the U.S. is presently at 9.2% according to a report yesterday evening, so I think there might be interest (at large) among members to know how WE are doing.

My big corporate position, not a grand one by any means, came to an end several months ago and I have been doing a freelance/self-employment thing since that time. I mostly do computer and information technology support, but would be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. for an opportunity with live-in arrangements. Perhaps renting out a cabin at a campground and helping prepare for the upcoming 2011 season.

What are others up to these days?
