Tattooed Nudes Who did your art work?
| There are a lot of good artists out there, you just have to look for the one that clicks with you... one of my tats was done by Patty in Morgantown, WV and another done by Deb Brody in Dallas, TX and I would go back to get a tattoo from either of them... when I lived in Hesperia, CA I saw the work of probably the best portrait tattoist, Nikko Hurtado (IMO) and I believe he might still be out there... I guess it all depends on what you are looking to get as many artists are better at one style of tattoing and prefer to stick with that style while some will do anything... just choose the artist carefully and don't be tempted by price... have fun... | |

| I had my large back piece done at Ascension Custom Dermographics by the artist Ant, in Orlando, FL. He did a beautiful job and had a great hand and wonderful shading. Very pleased with his work. It's now five years old and still looks fresh. | |
| I have my shark and my half sleeve all of which were done by Alana in the Central Valley. I hoping for her to do a half sleeve on my left side. | |
| Where I live (Va Beach, Va), tattooing was illegal for many years. The guy that did my kanji, is the one that got the ban on tattooing in Va Beach overturned. He is a fabulous artist. A bit of an odd duck, but his skill makes it possible to overlook that. :) | |
| Lacey, I think "most" tattoo artists are odd ducks. I have a Nephew that works at a tattoo studio in Tucson. I asked him to "think" about doing my next tattoo. His reply was ," I can't do cops in my shop. " I guess it's a Biker thing. I told him I would fly he and his Wife out to the ranch. He told me he only does "New School". No, I'll go back to Alana...beside the tip, she has a taste for Crown Royal Reserve after the project is done. | |
| Thanks everyone for allowing be to be part of this group. The Tat on my back, Large Spiders, were done by an Artist at Diversity Tattoo Shop in Las Vegas. Both on my upper arms Eagles,Yin Yan on the back of my neck, and Peace sign upper back shoulder, were done by an artist at Pair A Dice Tattoo Shop again in Las Vegas. Every other tattoo I did myself, Chest, Stomach, Lower arms inside out, knees, thighs, pubic area. Every One of these Tattoos tell a meaningful story, a part of my personal life... |
