Texas Nudists and Resorts To shave or not to shave
| obviously, by my photos, i do not shave. nor do i plan to. as the Bible references our pubic hair as a contrast to draw attention to the parts of the body that they grow around, i guess i feel that if God wanted me smooth, He would've made me that way...of course, on the other hand, since i'm also too lazy to shave my face it ought to be apparent that i'm not going to take on the additional maintenance of shaving my pubes:-)...i guess, really, it's for each individual to decide, and that's what makes us interesting as individuals...and, i didn't know that i was supposed to expect women to be shaved or that they preferred me that way, first time i heard that...in my case, i don't really have enough pubic hair to make much difference either way, so it's just my personal preference not to bother with going smooth...in the end, after all, i only need please myself...can't please anyone else until i accomplish that, right? | |
| I know that not all men expect women to shave. I will never shave for anybody. Just looks better to me to be natural. | |
| I have been shaving for about 7 years and love it. It just feels wonderful to me and can't believe it took me so long to try it. I shave from neck down about twice a week. I know it's not for everyone, but if you've ever been curious about it, I recommend you give it a try. | |
| A few years ago, liking clean shaven so much,I had laser hair removal. A complete Brazilian plus buttocks and upper legs. I have an electric epilator I use for my lower legs, chest and abdomen. I would complete the laser treatment except it calls for staying out of the sun. It took just over a year for the treatment which translates to a nudist going a year with clothes on. Although it was well worth it, I like being naked too much to give it up for another year. I am almost as smooth as my wife, laying in bed next to her cuddled up feels incredible. I highly recommend it. I am heavy on top but with jogging shorts on I have great legs for an old guy. I get many comments from women in the grocery store or Wal-mart. Smooth isn't just for women anymore. They have known how good it feels all along. | |
| In my experience with nudists, it is about 50/50 shaved vs unshaved. My personal preference is to shave if for no other reason than to keep things neater on the boat. | |
| Perhaps a compromise...a trim. A few years back I tried shaved and I liked it for a few days until it started growing back and became itchy and uncomfortable, so after a few weeks I let it grow back. Sinc then I have let it grow on its own. Recently I joined a local club and noticed how many shaved there were. So I decided to just trim it up a bit. It seems to work fine, no itch, and low maintenance. Also, another reason donot shave genital area is because I have slightly hairy inner thigh and if I shaved the genital area, the hair on thigh would look really weird if it came up and just stopped, so then I would be forced to shave that, and then down the entire leg, and like the person earlier, I find it hard to shave my face everyday much less the majority of my body. So I am going to try the trimmed look for a bit and see how it goes. | |
| My wife and I like to be smooth. We went permanent with laser so we have no concerns with the "maintenance". | |
| I shave because I prefer being smooth all over... and I don't think men expect it. I know men who like and appreciate women for who they are, shaved or unshaved. If a woman thinks she needs to be shaved for man to like her, well she probably has bigger issues. It is all a matter of personal preference... I don't think anyone in the nudist community cares anymore. | |

| I am a smoothie simply because it feels good, and I think everyone would look better smooth partly because I think pubic hair breaks up the symmetry of the naked human body, but that's just my take on it. Still, I would never presume to tell anyone, male or female that s/he should shave or wax. It's really up to the individual, and I doubt if anyone does it to impress anyone. After all, nudists have seen it all, what's to be impressed with? It's just like those people who think nudists are exhibitionists. Wrong!!! Exhibitionists expose themselves to shock others. What nudist or naturist would be shocked at the sight of a naked person? lol. | |

| I prefer my sack smooth and i shave around the base of my shaft, but i leave a strip of hair across the top for fun. I am not a real hairy person so it works out. For the ladies, i find either smooth or hairy sexy but i prefer a nice trim job because a good display of hair just looks nice. | |
| I shave from the waist down. I enjoy the smooth, clean feeling, and I think it looks better on the occasions I have to wear a bit of textile at a non nudist gathering. | |
