In Florida, I'll have to say Como. Least, Paradise.

Playalinda, south end if NASA isn't launching anything. If they are I go to the north end.
I want to go to Sunrise in Ft. Pierce.

My favorite place is Three Rooker Bar, an island off the coast of Dunedin, FL. You can kayak or boat out there and it's a large U-shaped island with beautiful beach all around.

well .. Bryan.. I think we should both go together to both places at the same time and perform a valid scientific test on which place is better... when are you available?

My wife and I have just moved to Tampa. So we are yet to find out. Great tips in this post for us.

I'd really like to go to Cypress Cove. We go to Disney a lot and it's not far away, right? Maybe for my birthday. :)
I would like to go also. I am going to the NCH meetup.

Haulover, Apollo beaches, Sunsport Gardens and Cypress Cove. Not necessarily in that order. Just love being nude when possible.

Favorite? Caliente or Paradise Lakes. We like the service and amenities. Most often used place? Our home and backyard. We're in the "Palm Beaches" and had friends over last weekend for a clothing optional day. Sorry for those of you who are still freezing up North.

Lake Como. I love their nature trail. You cant beat hiking naked. Wish more clubs had trails.
Second is Cypress Cove. It's very nice but there isnt much for a single male to do there. If Cove had a nature trail it would be the best.

How does one get to Playalinda from Jacksonville??? My g/f and I were in CA last week and she wanted to check out a nude beach there, but time, circumstances and the weather were not in our favor. She's new to nudism, so we're still working on her comfort level, but we've visited Cypress Cove, Lake Como and Sunny Sands all the the last two months and she's doing really well. I think she'd enjoy the beach, but she has concerns about possibly being cited, issues with those who just go to "check out the naked people". Any insight would be appreciated.... thanks!!
Take I-95 South to exit for S.R. 406 (You'll see brown signs for Canaveral National Seashore)
Take S.R. 406 East, which will take you directly to Canaveral National Seashore
Once in the park, take the road all the way to the end (Lot 13)
You'll see signs posted regarding the Brevard County ordinance prohibiting nudity. However, Canaveral National Seashore and its beaches are federal owned land.
You'll be fine just as long you're in the area past the crossover for lot 13.
The South end of Canaveral National Seashore is Playalinda Beach (Brevard County).
The North end of Canaveral National Seashore is Apollo Beach (Volusia County), which also has a clothing optional section. However, the parking for Apollo Beach is a lot more limited compared to Playalinda which also means less people.
The first set of brown signs for Canaveral National Seashore you see coming from Jacksonville area for the North end.
To get to Apollo Beach, just get off at the exit for S.R. 44
Take S.R. 44 East all the way into New Smyrna Beach.
The road will take you directly to Canaveral National Seashore.
Once in the park, take the road all the way to the end (Lot 5),

The only facilities at Canaveral National Seashore are restrooms.
Therefore, bring lots of water, insect repellant and an umbrella for shade. Cellular coverage at Canaveral can be spotty depending on your carrier.

Hope I didn't confuse you.

Lake Como!
Como is awesome. Friendly people and plenty to do.
Cypress Cove is over rated in my opinion, but it's nice.

The Clothing Optional Social Club, a division of SFFB, the overseers of Haulover Beach (now rated the #2 nude beach in the WORLD, is hosting a weekend get together at Sunsport in West Palm Beach, 9/23 - 9/25. A Murder Mystery Dinner Show on Saturday night, followed by a DJ for dancing. A body painting demonstration, plus a drum circle and bond fire for toasting marshmallows on Friday night. Use the pool, hot tub, kayaks, or just come to play and meet up with some really nice Naked people. Call 1 800 551 7217 and ask about the half price Meet Up package. Perry

For me it's Haulover Beach but mostly because thatst the only "public" place I have been naked. I would like to visit and experience other places, any recommendations? There is a Korean place in DC that is great too.

Caliente is by far the most luxurious nudist resort I have ever been to. Would love to go back. Butt what has become of them has changed my mind on that one.So I prefer Cypress Cove first and Paradise Lakes 2. And Of course Haulover is #1 in my book for now cause its the only nude beach I gave been to.
Cypress Cove is the best place to go nationwide in my opinion. it is also nice being so close by now. As far as Paradise and Caliente, they are not nudist resorts, they are adult resorts. I personally would rather spend an afternoon in a Port-o-John than ever step foot in either of those two places. I feel bad for the dedicated nudists who bought property in those resorts to live their dream only to have those dreams crushed.

The Cove then Como.

Grounds fees and membership at Paradise Lakes is ridiculous.

We agree with your "ridiculous" assessment, Dave. Prices at PL have gone through the roof. That's why we only do it a couple of times a year. The rest of the time we're in our private backyard where the grounds fees are a lot less. (But on the other hand, there's nobody to make the Pina Coladas for us.)

ha.. nudey.. If you pay me $12 a drink..I'l come make them for ya. I think PLs problem is they do not allow you to bring your own drinks. BUt hey..it's their place and this is America.. I have amuch better time at Como anyway.. no one is groping your wife in the pool

Too many choices for me. Probably as a beach for me and then Cypress as a resort.

My experience has all been within the last week. We got to Paradise Lakes, Lake Como, and Caliente. I wanted to get to Cypress Cove, but couldn't get it in on this trip (next time!).

It's really kind of hard to compare the 3. We stayed at PL in a private condo. That way we didn't have to pay all the day fees unless we specifically went on PL property. It was pretty expensive at PL, and I also don't like that you can't bring any food or drink in with you.

They also have a "no money" policy, so you have to use a credit card or one of their pre-paid cards. Since they are poor about giving receipts, you really don't know how much you are spending, unless you really keep track. I much prefer using real $$$. I suspect that is why they do it.

Caliente was STUNNING. I mean WOW. I've never been to anything quite like that before. We went after 6, so the couples cost was $20 versus the normal $100 day fee. We also went on "Ladies night" so the drinks for me were free from 8-10pm. I wouldn't stay there because I couldn't afford it!

Lake Como was probably my favorite because it was relaxing, quiet, peaceful and the people there were the most friendly of all (well.... the people at Caliente were a bit TOO friendly, if you know what I mean). Lake Como is a lot more relaxed about things and let you bring in your own water and such. I don't know what their accommodations are like, but I will certainly consider staying there next time. It's easy enough to visit the other places.

Definitely Cypress Cove :) In second place is Playalinda Beach and third place, Haulover Beach. The only reason why Haulover is third is because it's the farthest from me. I'm in Orlando suburbia.
Sunny Sands in Pierson and Cypress Cove in Kissimmee are my two favorites. Sunny Sands is small but super-fun, pool and hot tub stay open all night and the party at the bar is always a hoot.Playing golf is always a good time. The people are so welcoming and hilarious.
Cypress Cove is great for its lake (gator watching and fishing),bar trivia is fun and the events such as Nude-A-Palooza and Parrothead Weekend make it a great place.

Sunsport Gardens
As with many other nudists, our favorite Florida nudist resort is the one closest to our home. Edun Lake is located right in Naples, the city in which we live, and is just a short drive away.

My wife Suzanne and I make new friends every time we're there, because the members are very friendly. Later we often invite them to follow our car to our own clothing-optional home and garden in Naples. Here we can all skinnydip in our heated pool in comfortable 90-degree water, sunbathe nude in our half-acre garden amid the tropical flowers, and hang out nude indoors and outdoors, making music, singing songs, playing games, and sharing pot-luck dinners--and everything's free.

We love meeting other friendly nudists, so everyone's invited to visit our home, and on request can also be taken to Edun Lake. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

I'm always nude at home, inside and out, then Cypress Cove.
If your on the panhandle then Okaloosa Island is the best. Very secluded beach, mostly locals and friendly people. Just park at one of the dirt parking lots and walk towards the old radio tower building.
