 Travelites joined Serendipity friends for a great weekend of fun, water volleyball, relaxation,
slip & slide for kids of all ages, reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones.

Saturday night's barbecue ribs were fantastic, fall-off-the-bone perfect along with potato salad, coleslaw, garlic bread, and chocolate chip and chocolate/chocolate chip cookies for dessert.

Many spent the evening outdoors on the patio just plain gabbing up a storm, trying new beverages. Others danced indoors while still
others watched the sports channels. The pool and hot tub were well-used the entire weekend.

Serendipity's Labor Day weekend 9-ball pool tournament was won by Travelites' own Allen aka Horrell Hill Fats. Of note: Allen hasn't played pool in more than 20 years, and the final two competitors were the oldest among those trying to win. Be ware, old age and treachery will always beat out youth and skill.

Breakfast/brunch was perfect. Anything you'd like plus a whole lot more at fantastically reasonable prices.

Tonight's dinner will be grilled ribeye steaks with all the fixin's.

The weather has been great, the people friendly and very hospitable.

The Serendipity Management agreed to once more host the East coast Chili Cookoff, this next year on Saturday,January 21, 2012.
