New Computers Are Being Installed
Deployment of the new computers has given rise to a buzz of office station reorganization, which you will certainly notice when you next visit the AANR office. The staff always enjoys it when members drop by.

New Database
The Electronic Initiatives Committee's database Transition Team has held several conference calls in preparation for the new Customer Relations Management/Finance system.

Membership Incentive
The latest membership incentive program on Facebook and the E-Bulletin has been attracting significant attention. The AANR office has been rotating various membership incentive programs throughout the year.

A Members Says Thanks
One of our new members sent me a very moving email, saying "Thank you and all at AANR for affirming my choice in recreation." This sort of communication really makes us all feel good about the work your volunteers and staff carry out every day on behalf of AANR and nude recreation.

Bare Necessities Cruise
The Bare Necessities FantaSea Fest II cruise is just a few weeks away. If you would like your club brochures displayed at the AANR table, please send approximately 30 to the AANR office no later than October 17. If you plan to board the ship, feel free to bring them along with you and drop them off at the AANR table.

The Bulletin
The October issue went to the printer on Tuesday, and it should be on its way to you today.

Holiday Photos Wanted
The Bulletin is holding a contest for the best holiday photo for the cover of the December issue. The winning entry will receive $50. Photos can be original print quality or digital image. Image must be at least 4x5 inches, 300 dpi, jpg or tiff. Please submit entries no later than October 20 to: Linda Berry, The Bulletin, 1703 N. Main St., Kissimmee, FL 34744-3396; or by email. AANR members and clubs are encouraged to enter. A photo release form must accompany the photo. AANR's release form can be found here.

Statistics for 2011:


In Session: There are 4 states, Puerto Rico, and US in Regular Session. There are 4 states in Special Session.
States in Regular Session: MA, MI, OH, PR, US, and WI
AANR Statistics:

o 2729 bills have been reviewed personally by AANR in 2011.
o 68 bills have been reviewed in full text by AANR in 2011.
o 23 bills are being monitored for movement/amendments. This figure includes some carryovers from 2010.
o 2 bills have been moved to the "Archived 2009 List" and 5 bills have been moved to the "Archived 2010 List" and 4 bills have been moved to the "Archived 2011 List."

AANR encourages our membership and like-minded nudists and naturists to assist in the process of tracking bills and news impacting nude recreation. Always contact the AANR office before taking action. This ensures that your actions are aligned with the strategy underway for any particular bill or advocacy effort. Remember, AANR GAT works for you!
