Absolute Naturists How Do You Sleep?
| Who here sleeps under the covers or without covers (nude, of course)? Unless it's cold (like it was last night) , I sleep without covers. To me, sleeping under the covers is like wearing clothes in bed. | |
| I sleep nude on top of my covers. Sometimes I will slip my feet under the covers. In the winter Im under the covers but still nude. | |

| How do you sleep? Not well lately! LOL To bed very late and up very early. We've slept naked from our wedding night to present. We don't know how to fall asleep otherwise. We sleep naked wherever we are...family's homes, friends homes...that's the way we sleep! I think a better question would be...what Absolute Naturist DOESN'T sleep naked! LOL Sleeping without cover doesn't make you anymore naked while sleeping than covered with six blankets! A wise veteran female nudist friend always says..."Nude when possible, clothed when practical"...if it's cold...I'm covering up...with clothes (regrettably) or blankets! LOL | |
| I sleep with a comforter, body pillow and pillow. These keep me comfortable. Of course I am naked. I really can't imagine why someone chooses to sleep in clothes. When I am with someone else in the room I ask if they mind and if they do I sleep in underwear or shorts. The funny thing is if sharing with a male they are less likely to say "I don't care, be comfortable" than if sharing a room with a female. And I am not talking about someone I'm in a relationship with but casual friends or shared rooms at workshops or conferences. | |
| I have sleep nude since I married my first wife (Yes there has been more then one) and after our divorce I continued to sleep nude. I then met a wonderful woman that was a nudist and we slept nude until I lost her and I became a widower. I now am married to another wonderful woman that loves to sleep nude with me and go to nudists resorts. | |
| For me, it also depends on the situation. If I'm a guest in the home of non-nudists, then I'll wear shorts or whatever clothes I'm wearing if just "crashing" overnight because of being too tired to drive home. Also, when camping with non-nudists, I sleep in clothes, especially during the cold months. | |

| I always sleep nude mostly with just a sheet ..when it gets too warm I shed that too. Funny story, we were atying at a friends home years ago and as usual I was sleeping nude, the bathroom was down the hall and I had forgotten a pair of shorts just in case. I slipped out of bed headed to the restroom figuring everyone was sound asleep, I came out back down the hall and ..yup you guessed it bust ..stone cold naked in the hall..my friend was still up reading , the rest of her family was asleep. She froze when she saw I was naked she stammered a little and said she had heard something..I chuckled and said no just naked me going to the bathroom..she smiled and said are you a nudist..we stood in the hall and talked for almost half an hour..at the end of the conversation she said she wanted to go to a rosort with us and would try to work on her family to go too..she also said to feel free to be nude in her home whenever we visit..what a great trip and we have since spent alot of time at the beach with her faily enjoying a clothes free time.. | |
| Good story, sunny, thanks for sharing it with us. I too have been 'caught' in much the same situation. As it turned out, the hosts also slept nude and knew what it is like to head for the bathroom in the middle of the nite. Glad it worked out well for you. | |

| I can't handle wearing anything to bed. I feel like I get tangled up! In the summer I don't bother with covers of any kind (it's expensive to cool the house in these parts!), but in Winter nothing's better than a giant duvet! | |
| I always sleep under the covers. In the summer time when it's too hot for a blanket, I crank up the AC so I can still use the blanket. Unfortunately this has, from time to time, caused my wife to put on...... pajamas..... :( | |

| I have slept nude since leaving home at 17! My wife of 25 years has realised over the last year that she is much more comfy sleeping nude, even though we mostly are under a sheet at least. I am very hot natured while sleeping, so not a lot of cuddling.. lol!! | |
| Ive slept nude as long as I can remember. However 30 yrs as a fireman I slept in shorts in the station. I have a bed on my covered deck and i have slept out there since May. Nights now are getting down in the low 30s but days are still in the 80s. Still naked but getting in and getting out is shall we say...invigorating. My plan was to do this till it hits zero but I am not sure I will make it. May have to come indoors. | |
| I live in the city in the Midwest; so my sleeping state varies throughout the year. Completely nude on top of the covers in the summer, nude under the sheets in the fall, T-shirt and comforter in the winter. If it's cold but my body temperature becomes comfortable, I will actually undress in my sleep. I've been known to fall asleep with clothes on at friends' home or hotel rooms, and wake up nude with my clothes at the foot of the bed. Unconscious nudism?! | |
| I've slept nude since as far back as I can remember. In the winter when it's colder I use the flannel sheets and down comforter but always nude unless I'm really sick. | |
| It all depends on the inside temperature of the place where I'm sleeping. My wife will always have, at least, a sheet over her. If it's warm inside the place where we are sleeping ...I won't use anything. This past weekend, we were staying at some friend's vacation home in Lake Havasu. We were having trouble figuring out the A/C and swamp cooler and our first night was a warm one (inside). So warm ... we both slept on the sheet and didn't cover up til almost 3am when the temp outside was cooler than inside. I woke up and opened the window about 2am and with the ceiling fan going at Warp Speed ... it finally got comfortable enough to doze off. We finally got the swamp cooler working correctly and then we slept with a sheet the rest of the weekend. At home, we keep the A/C on during the summer months and even in the early fall. The high's this week have been between 102 and 104. With the house A/C set at 78 degrees and the ceiling fan going ... it cools down enough that we use a sheet. ;) | |
| Of course I like sleeping nude. Sleeping out of covers becomes a necessity because my wife hogs them all! (don't get the wrong idea, I love that woman so much and wouldn't trade her for anything!) | |
| If I had my way, I'd sleep outside Naked regardless of the change in weather. I sleep naked on top of my sheets and covers. | |
