Farewell to Terry Justice
It is with real regret that we bid goodbye to Terry Justice, who has worked here in the AANR office for seven years. Terry is moving on to a new and exciting challenge working with one of our newest clubs. She has been a sympathetic ear to those with troubles, a strong, common sense voice in times of need, and a delightful woman with a sense of humor. I know we will all miss her in the office, and am sure you will as well. Her last day in the office is October 13.

Transition to New Database Continues
What a busy week as the training and transition to the new Customer Relations/Finance database continues! Applause and gratitude to the staff who are "keeping the car running while changing all four tires" as one of our transition managers phrases it.

The transition involves cleaning up a great deal of data. This being "snowbird" season, let me urge clubs and members once again to send the office prior notification of change of address. The returned Bulletins constitute a serious expense for the Association.

Membership Recapture Project
The staff is also working on the membership re-join project, in which we contacted members who dropped their membership several years ago and offered an incentive to re-join.

Deep thanks to the clubs that offered coupons for a free day visit to those who re-join.

We are seeing gratifying results from this project.

AMS Transition Continues
Work continues on the transition to the Avectra Association Management System. This week we continue with data mapping, merging the current data fields we use, adding new fields for better efficiency, and creating new data parameters for items we currently do not not manage in our existing system.

All other information remains the same.

Have a good weekend, everybody.
