To anyone here that has any vehicle transported.... Stay clear of a company from Los Angeles called AAA All-Star Discount Auto Transporters. They are crooks liars theives and cheats. I contacted them a month ago about transporting a pickup truck for me. After about 3 weeks I finally got them to commit to a date and when I called about it I was told they couldn't get it done for the $699 they quoted me, it was gonna be $1200 -- since "I wanted it done on short notice". I wanted a refund for the deposit and was told "No refunds" and immediately hung up on. That tells me they know what they are doing is crooked. Tell anyone and everyone you know about them.

Thanks for letting us know. I'm sure many others feel the same way...but just haven't felt the need to respond...I guess.

I appreciate the heads up!

You're welcome FP -- and I just found another scammer too. If anyone gets a call to transport anything from phone number 224-531-3002 - that is also a scammer. Pass the word please.
Thanks, for the info. I was helping a friend transport a car to the east coast.
It was a nightmare going through all the bids without references.
Make sure you file a complaint with your state's AG, and consumer affairs office. Consider a complaint with the FBI as well, interstate commerce.

Also you can file a complaint with the Better Busines Bureau.
