I'm right there with you at 52 years old, and I ride a Softail Custom. I've heard some of the younger riders referring to Electra Glides as "Geezer Glides" lately. I guess if you want comfort over style, that makes you old!
well i new to this site but not to being a biker. i'm 58 . got my first motorcycle when i was 14. i ride a 76 superglide. i only recall rideing nude one time when i lived in Tn. by the way my harley is for sale
Same with me, I started riding on a minibike when I was 9. That's a pretty good looking bike you've got, especially considering it's age. My cousin has a '76 Super Glide he bought when he was still in high school. He's kept it looking like a new one.
Oh, and I also rode nude once. had to do it just for the thrill, but there's too much hot metal on a bike for me to make a habit of it, not to mention the possibility of road rash in the extreme if you'd drop it while riding nude.
I'm guilty of riding a Geezer Glide. Rode from here at the end of the earth down through central Washington, Oregon and into Calif. before heading west to the Redwoods, then north to Tillamook on 101 before heading east and then north to home. 2271 miles on my odometer. I often ride nude on our property (have 102 acres almost in Canada here in central WA). Started riding at 14 on a Wizzer. That was over 52 years ago... Think my next bike (have 2 of mine in the garage + my wife's '09 H-D trike) will be a V-Rod.
