Home Nudists Who Knows ?
| I am pretty much a private nudist. None of my friends know that I am. My wife knows of course but none of my family does. I think that the general public frowns on nudity in public. I wish people's attitudes would change. The world would be a more peaceful place if everyone was comfortable being nude around each other. Who knows that you're a nudist besides friends here in the Clubhouse ? | |
| Most of our friends know, as well as most at work place. My 9yr younger bro and his family enjoy nudism if they wish. Also my 11 yr older sister knows. Lastly, my mom joined us at a club for 4 days a few yrs ago before she passed away, she was 88 at the time. It was wonderful having her there with us. | |
| Our daughter's, their husbands and our grandchildren. They have been nude here, been nude with us at the beach and took a week long vacation with us to a nude beach resort in the Caribbean. They really enjoyed it and want to go again. We are certain that our circle of textile friends knows but no one is asking questions and my wife's wish is that she be the one to tell them when the time is right for her. Almost ALL our girl's friends know we are nudists and several of them have asked us questions. We've even had one couple go with us to the nude beach twice and want to go again and want to go on the nude vacation with us when we all go again. I was of the notion that EVERYBODY (our textile friends) needed to know...but as time passes...I really don't care anymore. I thought..."if we tell them, who knows, maybe they will be interested in trying it as well, we may have a couple of closet nudists in the circle" but they've all made jokes or comments about nudity that tells us they probably aren't interested and I don't want to waste my time with them on this particular part of our life. I think it's important for your kids to know. It can be a point of continued friction in a relationship if one partner wants to tell their kids and the other wants to keep it a secret. What's been so great about our girls knowing...we tell them where we are going and give them the information to get ahold of us if needed. If we don't have our cell phones with us...they can call the front desk, front office, security and we can be reached in case of emergency. They also check the websites out and figure out if they or they and their friends want to go check it out on their own. With this method to my madness...hehehe...I'm fostering a nudist recreation life in our girls and their kids. Our grandkids know and love coming over here for many reasons but one of the most fun is that they don't have to worry about running around naked or being naked in the pool. | |
| All my nudist friends know :), my 2 sons but that is all I know that know and approve of our being nudists. Do not try to hide it but the textiles in our group of family and friends do not want to hear about it, I say they have closed minds. | |
| Most of my friends know I prefer to be nude whenever possible, so they call before arriving on my doorstep. My textile room mate doesn't know that I strip as soon as he leaves for work, and am nude until I hear him getting up around noon time. I have been laid off from my job, so I am able now to be nude nearly 20 hours per day and wear the minimum the rest of the time...I n general only those closest to me know about my love of naturism. The 80 degree, sunny March weather doesn't hurt either :) | |
| More and more people are starting to know as I talk more about it even though many don't believe me. My significant other, a non-nudist, tells her friends all about me working out in the yard clothes-free, etc, so they know me as the naked guy. Some people I won't tell, like my parents, because they are extremely Gymnophobic. | |

| A few friends and coworkers. Also, my wife, of course, my daughter, and my mother. I keep trying to spread the word when I feel the opportunity presents itself. If asked I will proudly announce I am a nudist. Jim | |
| For me it's just the wife and kids that know. A few people from work and high school have read some things on Facebook and believe me. Others think it's a big joke. | |
| Well, I have a neighbor who now knows. He intercepted me returning from the mailbox last night, wearing shorts and carrying my grandaughter. When I asked what he was doing he jokingly said, "Neighborhood watch looking for naked people walking around" or something to that effect. Then, he went on to tell me how he loves going nude in the house and pool when his 30-something year old daughter isn't home. Apparently his wife's okay with it too though she doesn't go nude herself. I honestly never knew he enjoys nudity, like me. We shared experiences a bit and he was grateful to learn abot the Las Vegas Bares and to hear about the Sunday parties here in Las Vegas along with the upcoming Nudist Expo and nude pool parties at the naked hotel. I told him about my participation here and other sites and promised to share more with him on the Bares and Nudist Expo. Hopefully, he and I can help spread nudity on our street. He agreed with me about how great it'd be to walk around our area totally nude without offending anyone. Jim | |
| My Mom, two brothers, my nieces, my kids, their significant others, and a small group of friends all know. We don't advertise, as there could possibly be repercussions at my wife's work. | |

| Most everyone I know or meet knows within a short time that I'm a nudist. My sister is a nudist after she fell in love with our hot tub and Haulover Beach. | |
| Just a few friends. Wife is a teacher, I'm a youth pastor, so we tend to be pretty quiet about it. A couple of our youth found out accidentally, and I ran into a former young lady at Olive Dell Ranch once, she is involved with Vita Nuda. | |
| I was, and still am, a home nudist. When I was younger and lived at home, my mother would occasionally just walk into my bedroom, and find me nude. I think she just chose to ignore it. :) This morning (about 11am) she called and said she wanted to drop some things off, and made the comment "or if you're not dressed, I can come by later"... *shrug* I really don't care who knows. | |

| A few of my friends and former co-workers know. My neighbor knows as I went out of my way to mention it to him. New people I meet find out soon enough. I don't steer conversations in such a way as to make an announcement but if the topic comes up, I have no problem mentioning it. | |
| I am getting to point that I don't care who knows. Most of my neighbors know and call before they come over. A few weeks ago I told my Mom and sister, and they didn't really seem to care. I have one friend that knows I get a full body tan but I don't think he knows that I'm a nudist. I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable, so I always put something on when people drop by. | |
| Like some of you, I really do not care about who knows. Almost all my co-workers know that I am a nudist and all friends and family who come home are all offered the choice of nudity, since I always ask them on arrival if they are offended if I stay naked, as being an active nudist. Generally, it goes into some discussions on the whys and it gives me an opportunity to explain what nudism is and to make a clear distinction between social nudism and sexuality. Some are looking at me as a weirdo but I never got a firm rejection. Nudism is my lifestyle and I am just myself when naked, why hiding it? I am a member of nudist association like AANR in the US and APNEL in France, and am proud about it. Again, it's an opportunity to promote nude recreation and its wealth of benefits. | |
| Ive been a home nudist for about twenty years after I moved out of home and rented flats,now I own my own home I am naked in the backyard and indoors as often as I want. I am trying to find some nudist guys in my town who would like to chillout at my home on a regular basis. There are a lot of people who like going nude at home but they keep it private from friends and family. I never told my parents that I was a nudist because they were conservative church members. I attend a church but I have never revealed my interest in nudism to anyone there. Prior to me being nudist I was a incredibley shy person,after practising nudism on a regular basis I became more confident and happy in myself. I enjoy the freedom and the no masks that being nude brings. You appreciate the naked body and accept other people as total people and not just a face | |
| I've been a home nudist since I was young. Although my parents never approved I would strip down when I was alone. Except for the one summer I was with my friend and his family for a wonderful time being free. When married my wife was not into it so I stayed a home nudist when she went to church. | |
| I was a closet nudist most of my life, anytime I had the house to myself growing up, off went the clothes. Back when I was in school I could also go in the backyard nude as we had fences all the way around the house. Later, when I got married, my wife knew I enjoyed being nude when I got home, and still today knows that I do when I can. Currently, besides the folks at the springs, my older sister and her family knows, my x-wife and daughter know, and I think my elderly dad has a suspicion since he came home one morning from going out to breakfast that he does every morning to catch me returning to my room after dropping off my water glass and phone in the living room while nude. He knows the springs are “clothing optional” but has not asked me directly if I am one of those...lol. Very few friends know, and more suspect since I tell them about my weekends at the springs. I wish I had more confidence like I've read here to just outright tell people. It's funny in an ironic way that my friends at the springs look at me strange when I have clothes on and people at home would think me strange if I didn't. | |
| Well, two nurses at my urologist's office now know after my visit there this morning. When I arrived and was processed I was takent o the room where the procedure wass to be performed. I was told to remove my clothes (shorts only since I go commando) from the waist down and get on the treatment table, covering myself with the paper sheet provided. After doing so the nurse returned and began to prep me which involved sterilizing my groin and anethisizing the head of my penis. She, of course, had to move the sheet to do so. Then, I was directed to lie on my side and she partially covered me with the sheet. Shortly after the first nurse returned with a second to further prep me and had me slide forard to the edge of the table and place my legs over supports. Again it was necessary to remove the sheet which seemed to be getting in their way. Therefore, I told them it wasn't necessary and said I guess I should tell you I'm a nudist. Their reaction was either one of amusement or relief. I told them if they were not offended the sheet was not necessary and simply removed it. Thereafter, I stayed nude (my legs were covered with steril pads to prevent infections) from about the chest down since I did have my shirt pulled up out of the way. Everyone, including the doctor when he came in seemed perfectly at ease and I felt much more comfortable. I suspect my future visits will be much easier and will save materials (disposable cover sheet) since I can just strip and await the doctor with no need to cover up for anyone's modesty or comfort. | Well, several people know, my girlfriend, who I'm trying to get interested in joining me... and most of my friends are aware I have no problem being nude, though I haven't come out and stated "Hey, I'm a nudist"... I'm thinking they know.... =) |
