Gov. Walker

Apparently there are 5 challengers on the Democrat side, and it appears that in a recent poll, Walker is in a dead heat with the top Democrat contender.

I hope Walker prevails in the recall election, but a recent poll cited by Yahoo indicates otherwise.

Here's the link if anyone is interested: http://news.yahoo.com/wisconsin-democratic-debate-focuses-attacking-governor-035142223.html
I'm sure a Democrat will "win" no mater how much support Walker receives.

Be careful of the polling method. Barrett only leads in some of the polls when the voters are registered, but leads in those that are likely voters. Likely polling is the most accurate.

Congratulations to Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch on their victory in the union-sponsored recall attempt. The LEFT thrice tried in vain to stoke the battle between public sector collectives and the Governor. The fact that over one-third of union households sided with Walker demonstrates the rift between members and their fat-cat overlords at the local Union Halls.

Tuesday’s balloting serves a strong notice to the zero logo Regime that Americans have had enough. Nevertheless, the embattled state executives are not in the clear yet: Thuggery is part and parcel of the sǝʌıssǝɹƃoɹd and has become their signature, as seen in the Capitol Rotunda in Madison at the genesis of this scenario. Nevertheless, the battle for fiscal sanity in the state is not over; the DONKEY PARTY’s clinched fist and closed mind will not disappear. They will surely continue to — pardon the pun — badger Walker and Kleefisch throughout their elected term.

2012 Gubernatortial Election by County

I think a clear message was sent by the resounding win by both Scott Walker and Rebecaa Kleefisch. As a historical note Scott Walker's was the first-ever win by a recalled governor.

I'm sorry to learn there's still a majority of Wisconsins (based upon exit polls) who favor Obama over Romney. Hopefully the figures will change and the state will go red in the November 2012 election.

Don't let the seemingly pro-Obama exit polling get you down. Remember, voting has been going on in WI for the past few weeks by mail. The exit polling obviously only counts those who voted in-person.

Was really entertaining listening to all the morning talk shows playing sound bites from whining liberals crying "the end of democracy." I see this as a GREAT victory, and hopefully the beginning of the end of the fiscal cancer devouring state budgets.

Walker the recalled union busting governor of Wisconsin …, says another group’s post.
Correction: Gov. Scott Walker was not recalled! They tried to recall him but failed!

Thrice failing to push their agenda on the majority: is that their democracy? Bus-loads of out-of-state union operatives storming the Capitol: is that their democracy? Protesters harassing the governor’s family at their private home: is that their democracy? ’Blog-based death threats: is that their democracy?

This blubbering buffoon (video, below) has no clue of what he speaks. Firstly, the United States of America is NOT a democracy — it is a republic. The certified gubernatorial election in 2008 sent Walker to Madison and, though the motivation may be in question, the system allowing a recall election of 2012 was our representative government in action.

Gov. Walker and Lt. Gov. Kleefisch won with a greater margin of victory in a fair and honest ballot. If the end of obligatory union dues which are laundered into Democᴙᴀᴛ donations, confiscatory taxes and the stifling of individual liberties means that, “USA is done and democracy is over,” then let the Republic return!

My hope is that Gov. Walker's win sends a strong message to the Republican "moderates" such as Rep. Boehner, Sen. McConnell, etc. who seem to be wimping out lately.
