First Time Stories Late blooming first timer
| I'm a late bloomer looking forward to my first time experience as a nudist. I think I delayed going nude because I have always been unhappy with my body. I am losing weight, and exercising now, but I have the itch to go nude. I guess I shouldn't be concerned with some excess pounds and just go for it. I'll share my experience. | |

| Hi All: With the heatwave in the East this week, I've been nude in our pool and sunbathed nude on the deck. That's a start. Question: As I try to discover websites on nudity I am disappointed in many of them. I like NudistClubhouse a lot. Does anyone recommend other websites that may help a first timer? Thanks Bill | |
| First time jitters? A few seconds worth. Look at it this way, you are one new person in a group of maybe fifty or more who have been naked with each other for days to years. The only thing they are going to notice is a new face, and maybe even confuse you with last week's new face. They are going to look at you for a few seconds and return to their own book, conversation, game, or whatever, if they even noticed you at all. At my first time, no one cared, no one shreeked, no one cared, I just walked through the crowd and sat down and pulled out my notebook. You, on the other hand, are looking at fifty naked bodies for the first time in your life. Your reaction is going to be a little different. Don't worry about it, just enjoy yourself. I did. | |
| Here are a few links to some of my favorite nudist websites: www.clothesfree.com is a subscription site with a great collection of nudist photos and videos. http://www.i-naked.info/ is another informative website that caters mostly to British naturists. http://sunnydaynew.bravehost.com/index.html is a personal website published by a young woman who has chronicled her nudist experiences from the beginning. She has a library of stories posted that are both entertaining and informative. Reading about nudism from a woman's perspective was very enlightening for me. When you go to her stories page, the earliest stories are at the bottom and the newest are at the top. Reading them in chronologicle order is better as one leads into another. This site is in the process of being moved to another server, so the web address will change at the end of this month. | |
| My nudism goes back to when I was 6 years old that I remember. My family went on vacation on the beach of Lake Huron in Northern Michigan. It was the typical swim and play all day in my trunks, eat meals in my trunks, well you know what I?m talking about. The second day was the same except that night we were romping on the beach, there was NO moon and my folks said that we were going skinny-dipping. The beach was dark, and empty, and we kids were NAKED running screaming and swimming and having a ball with my naked father. We weren?t really being nudists as much as we were being ?BAD? but it was ok tonight because we were on vacation. The folks sent us up to the cabin wrapped in towels carrying our trunks and was told to get in our PJ?s and go to bed while my mother was getting out of her suit and joining dad to skinny dip and probably a little more fun than we kids had. This happened every year on our vacation until my sister was born when I was 10. Now, my folks weren?t nudists I never saw either naked unless by accident like I said we were just being BAD, but I never forgot the feeling. We ended moving up to that town and living on that beach just a short distance down the road, and every chance I got I was skinny-dipping on my own or with a buddy when he finally joined me. I never really knew anything about nudists or their lifestyle until I was 17. One of the nice things about living on the beach in a resort/tourist town was that every week we had a NEW influx of families come in and lots of teenaged girls to party with. In 1965 I met this gal on the beach and we started talking and we decided to go for a walk on the beach after lunch and she was staying at the resort right next door. After lunch I went to get her and I came from behind her cabin and as I glanced in the windows I saw her naked parents scurrying for the bedroom on the run. She came out of the cabin in her bikini and said, ?just ignore them? and we took off down the beach. As we walked I had questions naturally and she explained that they were nudists. (I don?t remember her really using that term but the meaning was the same) After a while when we got to a desolate part of the beach she asked if I wanted to go swimming. I said I did and with that off came her suit and she ran and dived in the water. I was stunned, but this young teenager got over it fast. I must admit that she got my attention if you know what I mean, but the cold water of Lake Huron took care of that. (give me a break I was a teenager) We played and had naked (night) walks on the beach and talked everyday for the next week and I was hooked and have been comfortable in my own skin ever since. On my second date with my wife (a HOT humid day) I took her to a swimming hole she was wearing her bikini under her clothes and I stunned her when I just stripped and jumped in Naked. It took her a while to get used to the fact that I didn?t care and was comfortable that way. Over time she finally got over her shyness around me and we skinny-dipped and ran around the house and the yard (at the cabin) naked. She was always pulling the drapes closed on me when I walked through the house naked and didn?t care. We had a couple occasions that we dressed in front of friends (camping) and it didn?t bother her but she was still somewhat shy about social nudism. When she announced her official retirement date and we were planning a 4 month RV trip I told her that I wanted to try a nudist resort she agreed to ?TRY? it but said why couldn?t we have done it when she was 30 instead of 50. Before the internet you knew about nudist ?CAMPS? but didn?t know how to even start finding them, so I researched, found and joined AANR and mapped clubs across the country. We decided to try Natural Horisuns outside of Houston as our first. I made her make the reservations for our RV on Saturday and Sunday and leave Monday morning. I still don?t know how but we got in the area a day early and she called and asked if we could come in earlier and all was well. (little did I know how great this was going to turn out) When I was checking in I asked if I could pay day by day in case she was uncomfortable and management said NO problem. We parked our RV and I was setting it up.(dressed) When I was done I came in and there she was NUDE and cleaning. I got undressed and went outside with the lawn chairs. The club was empty being as it was Friday morning and she had the whole day to get used to being nude in a strange place. There was a guy on the lawn tractor that she found humorous, she ran inside when the trash truck came in the club to collect but all in all she did really well, SLOWLY adjusting. About 5PM the locals started to arrive and she had a gradual influx of naked people until the club was ½ full. We went to the hot tub and pool with t-shirts on as it was March and a little cool. We spent most of the evening in the hot tub chatting and laughing with people and getting harassed when they found out we were newbies but really had a lot of fun that week end. Needless to say we stayed all weekend and Monday she said that she had been scared and figured that this would be a one-time event but she had fun and was willing to try it again but couldn?t we do it somewhere warmer. Three weeks late we decided on JDS (Jardin Del Sol (now Defunct)) outside of Tucson and we would try it for a week. We met some great people that are still friends today and ended up spending a month there instead of a week and had to force ourselves to leave and get on with our trip. We now have and live on 5 acres with a trout stream in the woods at the end of a dead end road, go nude 24/7 unless we go to town. We look forward to and still hit the clubs when we travel in the wintertime. My wife and I have been together for 37 years now. | |
