nude driving Do you think about being nude when driving?
| I just drove from Souix Falls, SD to New River, AZ nude (1500 miles in about 23 hours). I just drove to my home at Shangri La Ranch, unpacked, took a shower, and jumped in the pool - all naked. The road was mostly two lane highway - perfect for freedriving. I mostly didn't even think about being nude while driving. Does anyone else think this way? Has anyone else enjoyed driving naked this summer? | |
| I have driven nude once so far this summer, just a short trip around town. However, I drive with my pants down below my groin as much as possible, such as on my way home from work. I've never had the oportunity to drive anything near 23 hours or 1500 miles all while nude. I applaud you for doing so. Jim | |
| I drive nude all the time in my truck. I don't really think about being naked any more than I do in the yard. No one seems to notice, not that I would care if they did. I do sit on a terrycloth kilt/wrap to cover when I stop for fuel or pass a schoolbus. I've made the trip from Texas to California several times nude. | |
| I've started driving to and from Black's Beach nude this summer. I'd love to drive there nude and hike down to the beach all without having to put on clothes. I have found myself looking for other opportunities to drive nude too. | |
| Sometimes I think about it. Sometimes I don't. It's probably because I don't have what I'd call a lot of experience driving nude. I've done a trip from NJ to Indianapolis a couple of times nude except for gas stops. But that is more the exception than the rule. I didn't think much about being nude in the middle of a 700+ mile drive. I do drive nude from my nudist club from time to time. It mostly depends on whether I have to make a stop at the grocery store or something before I get home. I mostly don't want to have to struggle to climb into clothes in some parking lot so I don't usually bother to drive nude if I have to stop. If I don't have to stop, its nude all the way. When I do drive nude, I suppose I think about it more when I start out. Once I'm into the drive, I concentrate on driving. I've noticed that no one really pays attention to you on the road. People are too busy paying attention to what their doing and not how other people in passing cars are dressed (or not). | |
| I drive to and from work nude most everyday. Also when I drive more then a couple of miles I will do it nude. I can honestly say other then getting my cloths off I do not give it a second thought. As I have mentioned before, the problem I have had is remembering I am nude when I get to my destination. There have been a few times when I almost got out of the car while still nude. NudeJosh1974, I know what you mean about wanting to hike down to Black’s Beach without having to put something on. I did this a couple of times in the late 70’s. Now there is to high a probability of the police giving you a ticket to take that chance. What I do now is just wrap a towel around my waist and take it off as soon as I get on the beach. The only place I know of that you can drive to nude and stay nude is Deep Creek Hot Springs. You can check my other posts about this location. | |
| I had a short and painful hiatus from driving nude earlier this year. Foot surgery on both feet made it a little difficult to slip on and off the shorts ... so I had to take a break. But I've returned to driving naked quite regularly again and I'm glad that hiatus is behind me. I've been driving completely naked for over 20 years. PRior to that, I'd drive bottomless and occasionally totally nude but in the last 20+ years I've ditched all of it and driven nude all over and even just running errands. I "think" about driving nude when I can't be nude while driving. If we are headed to a formal outing or I need to be dressed in dress pants ... I get dressed at home and stay dressed til I return. Believe me ... I'm "thinking" about being naked the entire time! hahaha But ... driving naked has become SO second nature for me that most times I don't even start my truck til I've slipped off my shorts and taken off my t shirt. One of the perks for living in a climate where it's warm almost all the time ... shorts, t shirts and flip flops are not only common but the easiest clothes to slip on and off! I have to remember sometimes that I am nude cuz I've started to get out of the truck a few times and forgot I was naked. That works late at night when pulling into the driveway and coming inside but not a good idea in broad daylight at the gas station! LOL ;) | |

| I've pumped fuel into my truck twice ...while nude. Once on purpose and once ... out of necessity! The incident where I did it on purpose ... driving to Lake Havasu and was obviously naked. I needed fuel and went to slip on my short mesh shorts and looked around ... NO ONE around, no one at the gas station and a kid at the counter playing with his cell phone. I just jumped out, slid my card, started to pump the fuel and stood by the pump with the door to the truck open just in case I needed to take cover. I was able to pump the entire tank without having to get back in the truck. It was a great experience and I thought ... "how come this isn't natural to do all the time?" The time outta necessity. I left our current home for our home we sold to do some last minute repairs. I made sure I had ALL my tools but drove off without any clothes ... AT ALL! Got to the old house, found I needed a few supplies, got into the truck looking for my clothes ... NO CLOTHES! Headed out to return to our new home and found I needed fuel ... badly! Stopped and waited and waited for the right time and then drove up to the pump, got out and started the process. I didn't stand there that time ... too many other cars coming and going. It took a while but I was able to pump my fuel and do the transaction without being seen. Now my truck has a few changes of different types of clothing under the back seat! LOL ;) | |

If I'm driving the 'back way' from Vegas to naked Palm Springs, I shuck off everything but my shoes and enjoy the drive on the back roads with no care in the world. In Palm Springs, I only stay at nude resorts so I usually only have a pair of sweatpants that I pull on when I have to check in. Other than that, I love showing off and wish more people had cameras to take pics. | |
