New to Nudism New to Nudistclubhouse
| After sifting through some of the postings on my groups, I am feeling much more confident in my decision to join nudistclubhouse. This being my first experience with the public seeing me naked I am definitely coming out of my shell. My family and I visited Blacks beach when I was 14 and I remember being really excited and nervous at the same time about going to a nude beach! The beach was almost empty and there was a man off to the side behaving extremely inappropriately, which pretty much ruined the experience for me, however, there was also an elderly couple relaxing on the beach completely naked except for some wide brimmed sun hats and I noticed they were totally oblivious to everyone else there. They were just enjoying the sun on their bodies and each other. I remember thinking as I was leaving that maybe it really is innocent for most people like it should be. So, although one person can ruin an experience it seems that the awesome attitudes of so many others more than makes up for it. Cheers to all us newdies! :) | |
| My wife had been a "home nudist" up until we decided to visit our nude beach, San Onofre. The first few times, we sat alone away from most everyone. She was still apprehensive about the social aspect and I was not going to push. On one particular visit, we sat near an "older" couple. The woman sat on their blanket and wore a large white hat while reading her book. My wife watched this woman and was taken by her attitude, her poise and her gracefulness. This made my wife so much more at ease and after that day, she began to feel much more comfortable with being naked on the beach and enjoying herself instead of worrying so much. We've had some people act inappropriately around us and we've spoken up, gotten them to leave and it's not affected my wife's enjoyment of the beach. Glad you're enjoying it and Welcome to NCH! | Welcome to NCH, Karen. So far I've had to limit my social nudity to a few visits to private residences and the pool party at the Naked Hotel during the Nudist Clubhouse Expo here in June. Glad to have you join us. Jim | |
