I certainly look at others and myself differently now, figuring if no one else is bothered by the site of my out of shape, overweight body why should I be or be critical of them. | I love to be nude because it is relaxing. I do not feel as down when unclothed. Being nude (not naked as naked has a vulnerability component) enables me to feel a bit healthier. I've lost 20 lbs. in 2 month due to health reasons and am too thin now. It's also way more comfortable than clothed. Also should I perspire, it's easier to jump in the shower. | |
| Hey Cheri, thanks for reminding me about how much I love to be nude with our outdoor shower in TX. We live at the nudist club Natures Resort in te winter months so what happens is you just walk in, shower (or even cool down shower), step out and air dry... it is the best. | |

I can bend and pick things up, or stretch and get things down without fighting my clothes. But mostly, nudists are just more relaxing to be around. | |

I think the word naturist probably has more to do with identity than environmentalism or an idea that it is natural to be nude all the time -- including in inclement weather or while welding, etc. Compulsive clothes wearing is kind of alienating, though, and we'd probably be better stewards if we reclaimed one part of the Garden of Eden. | |
