 Congrats, Carl. How long did it take to publish?
It is my second novel. I wasn't exstatic about my original publisher so I started fishing around for a new one. Well, the publishing world turns out to be a small world. After sending a few letters to other publishers (all in New York) I received an email from my old publisher scolding me for trying to sidestep him. Anyhow, we worked things out and they published the book. It took about 5-6 months.

 Well, Carl, I'm sorry that your experience with your publisher wasn't the best. I guess you've answered the next few questions I'd have in your post.

For So Foul a Sky, who selected the cover? If it wasn't you, how much input did you have in its design?
They worked it all out and sent it to me for comments. I initially gave them a synopsis of the story and they went from there. I think they nailed ot pretty well.
