 Does anyone have updated info on the nude beaches in Texas? We will be returning soon and I would like to visit some. I will probably adventure out to South Padre's beach since it is the close.
Talk to me please. Maybe we can even get some beach parties going.

 was reading an article a couple of days ago about top ten nude beaches and, although not a beach per say, they had Hippie Hollow in Austin listed... I was somewhat surprised...

 Well I guess we can assume them there magazine folks ain't from Texas... dummies.
As soon as I get back in October I am going to investigate the situation on the So Padre beach.

 So far as I know, there are no "official" nude beaches in Texas, but a few places that are traditionally or commonly clothing optional, or at least so little used that you can be by yourself and therefore be nude without anyone harrassing you. We live in the north end of Texas and frequent Lake Texoma, and can usually find a few places to be nude there, but again no officially c/o or nude "beaches".

 Are there any updates or new experiences regarding nude tolerant beaches in Texas. I was asked again recently and frankly my answer was as wishy washy as the nude laws in TX. Can anybody shed some light please.

 The north end of South Padre Island is traditionally c/o, but not "official". You have to travel a few MILES north of beach access 6 before you get to the 'nude area'.

There's also a traditionally c/o beach just south of Houston, but I don't recall the specifics on it. It is not "official" either.
