Nude Photographers Who will do nude pics ?
| I have some pics of my wife & I @ Glen Eden & would like to get them developed. I haven't found a place that will do nude pics. Does anyone know of a safe place to send them to have this done ? Thanks for taking me in ! | |
| We couldn't find a place that wouldn't have heartburn over developing our nude pics so ... we just bought a photo printer for our cameras. We used it for a few years, still a good printer but ended up buying new computers, a new printer, scanner, copier, fax combo so the small photo printer is no longer in use. I asked the same question a couple years ago and thought about taking our scan disk to Kinko's and use the Sony Picture Perfect machines but someone stated that all those photos on the Scan Disk on saved on the machine's hard drive? Don't take any photos to WalMart! It's not worth the trouble or risk. Not sure about Costco ... haven't taken any to them but they did print some pics of our grandkids sitting at their play table, in the nude, after their shower ... so maybe they don't care or didn't see them. Anymore ... I just use the new printer and print the ones we want to put in our photo albums. I, too, have several CD's of nude photos of us and our friends that I'd like to print and put scrap books together for us to share during our annual trip together but would also like to know if the "Kinko's" rumor is correct. | If you're shooting film, try a camera store, or any "one hour" place. Just tell them what it is, assure them there's no porn, and stay there while they're processed. Costco can do it. Stay well away from Walmart. If you're using a digi, then just get yourself a photo quality printer. | |
| Nude photography is why digital cameras were invented. Photo printers are cheaper these days than developing film. | |
| I'm a little late chiming in here...but. Any high end lab will do it. Basically you want to look for a photo lab that has a fine art or high fashion clientele. I've had medium format photos from Black's Beach developed on numerous occasions at A & I in Hollywood, CA...but then they're local for me. I recently learned that A & I no longer develops E-6 (slides) though, which is surprising...but so many folks are shooting digital professionally that they couldn't justify keeping that going. They still do negs and b&w. For reversal I use a lab called Icon now. | |

| Hi Emz... sarcasm and wit doesn't always make it through the internet. :) I know what developed is, I was just making a joke, because I don't really know anyone that gets physical prints of their images any more. | |
| oops lol. Actually I do, my daughter gets some of her favourites printed and rotates them in her picture frames around her house =D | |
| Depends where you are located, but when I did film, I took all my film the CVS pharmacy, their policy is to print anything that does not have "sexual" contact... | |
| Two suggestions: 1) Find several professional photograpers in your area, go see them and explain your situation. They will have answers since they are more use to artsy photographers, You may have to pay more but what are the pics worth to you. 2) Switch to a digital camera. Even the cheaper ones take high quality pics and you can print them yourself. Film for the most part is like vinyl records...long gone. Those pics you have may be as well. | |

| Yeah BUT this topic is about getting pictures develpoed without fear, digital does that, no fuss no muss. BTW, I know a lot of pro's that have witched. Must be some reason for that. | |
| Well initially it is about a person looking to develop film they already have. Not what to do later. I think they're quite aware of digital photography, but perhaps like my wife and I, prefer the qualities of film, like better skin tones. Knowing where to get film developed is good knowledge to have. BTW, I am a professional photographer. Most switch out of convenience, nothing more. | |
| I have found a place that will make nude prints. I downloaded some nude pics to YORK PHOTO.COM . They didn't have any problem with it as long as there wasn't any children in the pics . I just wanted to put this out there . | |
| I have an HP Photosmart A637 photo printer that does an excellent job of printing digital pictures. No computer is required, as it will print right off my camera's SD card. It also has slots for several other types of memory cards, as well as a USB part for a thumb drive. It will print either 4X6 or 5X7 pictures. Save me taking my pics somewhere to get them printed. |
