Why is it, when I hear Washington talk about the Middle East, the deaths of our people and the cover ups ... I keep hearing Jack Nicholson say, "The truth? You can't handle the truth."

Since when is it okay to lie to the American people and WE accept it? Did this happen after Nixon but before Bill (I never had sex with that woman) Clinton?

Have our morals, has Americans changed so much that we're now willing to accept the lies of others and gloss over them? I remember when a person's word was as good as a contract; when did that change?

When I tell you I'll do, or not do, something it's written in stone. I may have changed my mind or the outcome may change but I'll do it, because I gave my word. I guess I'm living in my own world ...

Some people become too relaxed, complacent of their sences.

Example: How many changes can one recognize while driving through town, store fronts, remodels, stop lights and signs, etc...

Unless change is sitting nose to nose, in fear to those, it will only matter to the few.

We do still have the good ol' handshake but only between close friends today. Politicians have the vote, lawyers and the laws.
