Nudist who just dont care...
I just don't care.....
| .....what peoples definition of a nudist are. I'm nude for me, not others. I don't like clothes, I don't like the feeling of clothes on my skin. I'm nude because _I_ want to be! I don't consider myself as a naturist...I don't always do healthy things, I try to do things that are not harmful to the Earth, not always succeeding. I don't always eat right. I'm not big on exercise. I don't care about labels, I don't care what others think of the way I live my life, I don't care what peoples opinion are of why I am nude. I am nude for me, no one else. I am me. If a person doesn't like it, that is THEIR problem, I refuse to make it mine. Rusty | |
| Well said, Rusty. I feel pretty much the same way. Unfortunately, being married to an unsupportive spouse I do have to compromise. And, since I work in the casino/resort business I must also wear a uniform as a Security officer so I'm not nearly as free as I wanna be. Jim | |
| Nudist, Naturist they are just labels used to define people. Does being a Naturist make a person more spiritual than a Nudist? If so, by who's definition? I don't care if you call me that "crazy ol' bastard who runs around naked"...it's a term. People get so wrapped up in labels. I believe they do this to make sense of their world; things have to fit into a box for them to understand it. I've seen posts , where you're not a "nudist" if you only run around your house naked. I've seen posts where people shout for joy," I'm naked!", like they're had their first erection. All of this is Bullsh*t. Being a Nudist/Naturist is a state of mind. You spend what time you can, nude, there are no rules. I'm lucky because I live on a ranch and can be nude 24/7. Does that make me more of a Nudist than the person who has to go to work five days a week? No, it's not the time,it's the mind-set. So, pack up your labels...because I just don't care. | |
| I agree with you all. I am natural for me. Rusty I dont like clothes either. When I put on clothes I am doing it for someone else (society). I view clothes as a uniform that I am required to wear for work. When work is finished the clothes are off!In my mind clothes are for one reason only, protection from the elements. I once told my girlfriend at the time... I want to see the REAL you. She said, "You are seeing the REAL me. I said, no... I am seeing what Calvin Klien, Gucci, Levi...etc say are the real you. She didnt get it. We split up. I dont care what other people think I should be. I decide for me. I am happy as I am. The real me... naked and free. | |
| As far as I am concerned, anyone who enjoys not wearing clothes, regardless of how often or where, is technically a nudist. You can refine it by definition, if you wish, or add adjectives to describe the sub-category, but that's up to the individual. I live in an area with cold winters, deal with the public and wearing clothes is necessary. No big deal. When it is too hot or for comfort at home or at a club, beach, private area, I disrobe. I explain this to every woman I date. Some are ok with it, others are not. Some have asked me why and I explained, "well, once folks see you nude, that part is over with and they can get to know each other as people." The response has been varied, but I am being up front about it. And I explain, it is not 24/7. Europeans understand this, but most Americans seem to have a mental block, equating nudity with sex or immorality. Not my problem. Again, labels. I will not be put in a box as to who I am. Enjoying being nude is simply one factor that makes me who I am. I follow that through to everyone else, young or old, tattooed or bejeweled. Where, irrelevant, again folks getting upset about nothing. I also like the outdoors and nature, does that make me a naturist as well? Too trivial to waste thought on. If the whole planet were semi-tropical and pigs could fly, then maybe I could talk about absolute nudism. It isn't and I won't. Too many important things to worry about. Labels? I just don't care. | |
| I don't care either. I love being nude for the sake of not having clothes because I feel good. Call me nudist, naturist, I do not care. And I want people not to care about me being nude. Full stop. |
