Home Nudists How much of the time are you nude at home
| Since I live by myself, I'm pretty much nude fro the time I get home from work untill I leave for work the next day, unless I have to leave to go to the store, or hang out with friends. It's usually a bit too cold to go nude at home in the winter, though, since i live in a basement. | |
| I am an in home nudist. I am nude most of the day, as soon as I get home from work everything comes off. I enjoy this lifestyle. I would like to get my wife to join me but she's not to crazy about it. Having a little trouble talking her into giving it a try. We don't have any beaches or resorts in my area. Their are two about 90 to a 100 miles north of me. We live in a small community so not a lot of privicy. None of my neightors are nudist/naturist that I know of, so therefore I go nude in my home. | |
| I used to be nude around the home alot. I'm not so much now recently since my brother/roommate had his schedule changed so I can only be nude once he beds off for the evening. He gets up earlier than me now! | |

| I am in and out the door from 7am until 10pm. I forget to take all my clothes off, unless it's hot out. If I do remember, it's not usually worth it to get undressed for 15 minutes at a time. | When we first bought our home, there were only two other houses in the neighbourhood. It was no worry to walk nude to collect the mail or work in the garden since we knew our neighbours? schedules. Then the other homes started to appear like weeds. So much for being bare out there! | |

| I live with a roommate, so I limit my naked time to my room. Unless I have the house to myself. Every once and a while my roommate goes on vacation, so I stay nude for a week if I'm at home. I still throw some stuff on to answer the door out of courtesy though. | |

| Like most everyone else on this thread, I strip my clothes off the minute I get home and I don't put them back on unless I have to leave. In the wintertime I will wear a t-shirt and turn the heat up a little. I can remember being this way my whole life. My girlfriend will go clothes free some but she hasn't fully embraced the joy of being naked. | |
| I keep a pair of sweatpants and zipfront hoodie near the door...if anyone knocks then I slip them on before answering...no one questions bare feet at home :) My friends know enough to call before coming over to give me time to get dressed, except for a few of the girls who will come over to *be* starkers for awhile... | |

| Like most...we're nude all the time at home...inside and outside in our backyard. There are times when we have friends and family over and have to remain dressed but when it's just us or our immediate family...we are nude...most of the time. Our family (children/spouses and grandkids) are well aware of our lifestyle and have partaken in being nude here with us on a few occasions but it isn't something they are comfortable doing all the time....just yet. It didn't matter how long I was going to be home....I strip off every second I could. Nowadays...if I'm headed back out the door within several minutes....I'll remain dressed. Any longer than that....I strip off and get dressed again. I'm usually in shorts, t-shirt/sweatshirt (depending on weather) and flip flops so it's quite easy to slip out of and slip back on. | |

| We are lucky enough to live in Florida and we have a private backyard with pool, jacuzzi, and all of the trimmings. We're always nude at home in in the yard unless some textile friends come over. My clothes fall whenever we are alone and I roam freely in the house and back yard area which is bordered by woods and private. | Hi all, Well I'm retired and have a naturist friendly apt. I spend most of my time nude, sleep nude, do household chores nude, cook nude. I'm happy to say I spend days at a time without putting on a stitch. I hate clothes although sometimes I'm forced to wear them when I go out on errands which fortunately doesn't happen much. I find that clothes itch, bind and pinch and anymore I can't wait to get them off! Looking forward to summer going to a resort for the first time. Looking forward to hiking, and playing nude and taking full advantage of the warm weather. | |
| Anytime I am at home I am nude. Have been caught by the UPS guy and mail lady delivering packages, neither of them seemed to mind seeing my package. The mail lady is local and said she wished she had time to join me that day. Neighbor has not seen me yet but I am nude in my back yard anytime I see that they are not outside. They have grand kids so I am real careful no to expose them to my nudity, or should I say expose myself. I have great neighbors and want to keep it that way. | I'm nude nearly 100% of the time. I work at home and sit out by my pool naked most the day. If I go out my clothes come off the second I get in the house. I live with my wife and 14 year old. She's a school teacher and is naked at home but my son only swims naked. He wears a towel all day. His first trip to the nude beach was at 6 and he felt right at home. The house is on a golf course and so far (7 years) the golfers don't mind but a hedge blocks most of their view anyway. The neighbors, lawn treatment, and landscapers don't mind. I routinely stand talking to my neighbor while being naked. I am careful not to be seen in the front of the house though. Being near the end of our division all the kids walk by at various times to and from the school bus. And little ones play across the street. But the deck and lanai are our sanctuary. I do envy the people at Cypress Cove, the resort I go to. There are houses on streets running through the place where people live nude all the time. The whole community. Some day... | |

| Never as much as I would like. You see some friends kids have keys to my house. My house has been a second home to them most of thier lives. But at the same time they are not my kids, and you know the limitations of that with Nudism. They know that I am a Nudist, but they are not into that. So I was limited to hours of the day when they most likely not to come over. They have walked in on me a few time to thier embarrassment. The Boy is 17, The girls are 20, and 23. Last night I put a sliding dead bolt on the front door so that when I want to be in the Nude I no longer have to worry that they may walk through the door at any minute, why I diden't do this years ago I will never know. | I am a home nudist and just recently started being more open with it. My wife is not yet into the lifestyle. We both work very high profile jobs and she is afraid of what people will say. she is ok with me being nude at home, so I am nude whenever I can be. I hope that some of you here can someday find out how good it feels not to have to think about clothes or walking out your front door totally nude and having the sun and air caress your body as nature intended. If you are ever able, I would encourage all of you to spend a few days at a Nudist resort or park and get a feel for it. | |
| I've already commented on this but wanted to add to what SunBunny said about experiencing the joy of living nude for an extended length of time at a club or resort. We plan several nude trips through out the year and many of those we stay someplace for a week or longer. It makes it extremely difficult to leave the club or resort when you're able to be naked ALL the time. This last summer...we camped at Glen Eden Sun Club and it was warm enough that we were naked and sweatin' at 10pm!!! We camp in a tent trailer. That trip, we slept with the plastic windows open, the canvas windows open and barely covered in a sheet...and just in the early mornings when it got cool enough to cover. We forgot some things but did without because neither of us wanted to slip on even the most minimal cover to go to the store and get what we wanted. I can't imagine living at a club...I'd have to have ALL my groceries and necessities deliver to the gate cuz I wouldn't want to ever put clothes on! LOL But for now...I'll just have to get my fill with overnights, campouts and vacations at clubs and resorts and make sure that if we do forget anything...we can do without it so we don't have to get dressed! ;) | |
| I agree also. My record of a vacation being totally naked was 8 days straight was at Caliente Caribe. It was so perfect there that we never went on any excursions because we didn't want to have to put on clothes! The weather was perfect to be nude day and night! Every time that I do that, it makes me want to retire in a place like that where I would never have to put on clothes. | |
| That is exactly the experience that I was talking about. It changes your perspective about nude living 24/7. The fantasy of it all go's away and you begin to realize how normal it really feels and, in my viepoint is. I think it gives you a better foundation to speak about nudity to those who can not imagine how a person could ever be nude with other persons around them. The pitfall is, as FireProf spoke, you begin to have difficulty having to put on clothes to do normal everyday things, like go the the grocery store. oh well... | |

| Every minute I can find, which during the workweek is evenings. On my three days off, pretty much full-time unless someone visits, then coverage will usually be minimal. | I would be nude more often but it is a chilly winter here and I dont want to pay horrific heating bills so Ive been in the habit of dressing warm and keeping the house pretty cold (e.g. 60 degrees). Im definately looking forward to spring and shedding clothing again. | |

| Not so much now that it is winter and I live at 7,000' elevation. My only heat is wood and so much of the time, in the heart of the winter it is jus too cool! I always sleep in the buff and as soon as it warms up, I spend most of my time in my home in the nude. | |
| I've been a full-time nudist since 1954, so I'm nude at home 24/7. The home Suzanne and I bought is in warm and sunny Naples, Florida, so I simply walk out to garden or sunbathe nude in our secluded half-acre garden, even in the middle of winter. We also skinnydip in our heated pool in comfortable 90-degree water almost every day of the year. We've declared our entire property clothing-optional, and we enjoy sharing it with any nudists passing through our part of the world. They can join us for nude sunbathing, skinnydipping, or just hanging out nude in our home. I keep some of my massage tables outdoors, where I give interested visitors free nude massages and massage lessons. Those who prefer more privacy can enjoy the sessions in my little massage room instead. Visitors who bring along a male or female friend can be taught how to massage each other. On what Sunbunny was saying about living nude, I got a taste of it a few weeks ago when i went to a resort and stayed a couple of days. nude from the time i got there up to the time i walked to the car to leave. only a t-shirt due to a cold wind on the 2nd morning. going back this weekend for 3 days and don't plan on wearing anything until i leave. love it. | |
| We are naked so much, at home, that it actually feels strange to wear clothes here at home. The Prof gives me heck due to the pile of clothes (shirts, t shirts and shorts) that accumulate in the office. They are there to answer the door, or find themselves there when I walk into the house and start tearing them off. We've gone on vacation and will check in to hotel room. Walk through the door and start stripping to settle in and unpack. I find I can't really think unless I'm naked! LOL | |
| In the door, clothes on the floor. My first floor windows have light curtains on the bottom half where rooms 'could' be observed from the street. In the backyard, almost always. The exception is having to go out in front where the shrubbery is not very thick, then cut shorts or a thong is the answer. I reluctantly put clothes on when going off property. | |

| Great point. I once took out the trash in only a g-string so I was legally covered, as far as I understand Nevada law on the subject. And, I never got any negative feedback or comments from any of the neighbors, about whether they saw me or not. NOTE: I didn't wait until after dark to do so either. Jim | |
| Like everyone else here, clothes come off as soon as I get inside. When I used to telecomute out of my home office, I was able to spend most of the week naked. It was great. In Florida, most of the time, clothing feels unecessary and binding, something merely to be tolerated. | |
| Like now...on vacation, in our room with an awesome ocean view, slider and screen wide open, ocean breeze all over our naked bodies! Don't want to leave the room cuz we have to get dressed! But...we gotta eat! LOL Upside...as soon as we get back...I doubt the door to our room will close before the clothes hit the floor! :) | |

| my husband and i are fortunate to live in a place where we can safely be nude both inside and outside year round. our property is not a resort but it feels like it thanks to years of hard work planting bamboos, pines and other trees. my husband hates wearing clothes and since he rarely leaves the property, he seldom has to. i tend to go out more often and therefore wear clothes far more often than he does. can't complain, though, we have created and enjoy a wonderful naturist working/living situation. | |
| It being summer I'm nude all the time while at home, but I could not wait to be nude from the confines of my place. So I had the wonderful opportunity to spend two separate weekends at a nudist resort. What a great feeling to not only to do everything in the nude, but be able to be around others doing the same thing. The first day I shed my clothes the minute I parked the car, and then later could not believe I could walk through the RV section without any clothes, knowing no one could care less. What a feeling of freedom! My AANR membership card was truly worth it this month. | |

| I'm ready to remove my clothes when I get home but my wife likes it real cold in the house or turns the fans on hi so I have to wear a t-shirt to keep me shoulders warm. We live with her mother but she has no problem with my nudity, nor do my sister-inlaws and one brother-inlaw. So unless other guests come over I have very little on till time to go back to work. My wife will only take her clothes off late at night and we cuddle on the sofa to watch tv. | |
| Unfortunately, not nearly enough. In the beginning I went pretty much 100% nude in the house and backyard when only my wife and I were home. However, she has told me she doesn't like it and requires I wear shorts around the house and to stay covered outside. The fact our daughter and grandchild are with us pretty much full-time has also caused me to have to curb my nudity. On a positive note, however, I'm allowed to sleep nude, go nude in the bedroom and computer room anytime with the doors closed. And, thanks to my daughter's discussions with my wife, it's been okayed for me to attend nudist events as long as I don't come home to talk about it to my wife, though I'm sure that'll change in time when she'll want to know what went on. I hope, eventually, my wife will decide to check out an event, or several, for herself and even decide to join me in this grat way of life and freedom. If so, I suspect we'll then go clothes-free as much as possible whereever we are. If she does change her mind I will definitely let everyone know. Jim | |
| My husband and I are nude at home as often as possible. Usually, we get nude as soon as we get home from work, and remain so until we have to get ready for work the next day. We try to only get dressed when we have to go somewhere or when family and/or non-nudist friends come over. | |
| I guess you could say i am a closet nudist because my friends and sister know that i do. But they dont come over to much and when they do they call first. So i am nude all the time. In the Winter or when it is cold I put on a shirt. | |
| 8 hours of sleep, 2 hours of breakfast/shower/workout in the morning, 2-3 hours dinner/TV/games in the evening, this makes 12-13 hours minimum of nudity on a daily basis. On WE, it's almost 100% at the exception of some shopping, and if it happens I work from home, it's another 100%. So overall I would say, I'm nude 120 hours a week and that is 70%. Can it be 100%, like many of us who dream to live naked, I would love to as well. Just need to make a plan. m. | |
| Working out of the house lets me be nude most days. Clothes are only worn when non-nudist friends come over to the hang out (or when we leave the house). | |
| I'm nude only 24 hours a day, but that's just because there are no more hours a day. It's also because my wife Suzanne and I live in warm and sunny Naples, on southwest Florida's Gulf Coast. Thanks to the area's perpetual mild climate and our property's total privacy, we and our visitors can always enjoy outdoor nude social recreation here, even in the middle of winter. We all sunbathe nude among the tropical flowers that bloom all year long in our half-acre garden. We skinnydip in our heated pool in comfortable 90-degree water, with no chance of offending any non-nudist neighbors. We all hang out nude in our clothing-optional home, making music, singing songs, playing games, and sharing pot-luck dinners. Suzanne and I love meeting other friendly nudists, whether they're very experienced or just trying nude social recreation for the first time. | Peter, it sounds like an idyllic life. Though we live in southern Cal, we have some very cold months, so very little nudity outdoors. But I get to be nude inside, just turn the heat up a little which makes my wife happy. | |
| I love to be naked when i walk in the front door. To me there in nothing better than being nude doing my dishes to cleaning up the house. When I go out (depending on where that is) I do not wear underwear,it makes my feel naked. Love the feeling of being free. | |
| Most of the time, I live with two family members, but since I work at home, generally I take off my clothes to sleep at nite, then don't get dressed till 5 or six in the evening. When I visit my girlfriend at her apt. I'm generally always nude. | |
