 I don't know how many of you have been in a firefight, with bullets "cracking" past your head and explosions making your head swim, knowing there are more of them than there are of you. Some of you can relate, some can't. Now imagine calling for help ... not once but three times and hearing the term, "stand down."

I must be getting old. I remember being in the military; if "one of your people" called for help, you sent the "world." You may not use them but you sent them.

As a cop, if a "help" call went out over the radio, you knew AT LEAST six divisions were sending cars that way with lights and sirens.

As a firefighter, you knew when your company was toned out for a fire, you had a full strike team with bulldozers and aircraft enroute to your fire.

What were the people in the embassy in Libya thinking when they called for help and heard, "stand down?"

 I don't think any of us can imagine what they were thinking. However, I imagine their hearts sank. What the hell has happened to our military and all others they'd not respond, no matter what the "order."

Like the ex-SEAL who defied orders, someone should have had the balls to disobey and face the consequences afterward. Perhaps there'd be four less dead Americans today. Then, when all made it out alive I'm sure the president would boast about how he saved the day.

 This whole episodes sickens me. The families of the victims are outraged and every right to be. The level of incompetence by this administration is disgusting and treasonous.

 And what was our President doing while a United States Ambassador was missing? Why, he was jetting off to Vegas for a fundraiser! Hobnobbing with the hoity-toity Liberal elite (with deep pockets) was far more important than ascertaining the whereabouts of said United States Ambassador in a hostile situation, in a foreign country.

Then his Administration perpetrates the lie that it was because of an internet video trailer?

The last time a United States Ambassador was killed, the 2nd worst President, Mr James Earl Carter, Jr, was in office.

Yep, that diplomacy thing worked out really swell back then, too. *rolls eyes*

You extend "the hand of friendship" to terriorist thugs, and you pull back a bloody stump at the end of your arm. When, oh when, will these peacenik Dems ever learn?

Great post ! The Lame stream media is just as guilty as Clinton & Berry in this sad affair. They won't mention the attack on the embassy or our dead heros. All they want to do is drink the liberal kool aid & cover the president .

 I think it's interesting that Clinton "claimed" responsibility in the deaths of four Americans yet she STILL has a job. I think it's interesting that Rice lied to the U.N. yet, she still has a job. Finally, I think it's interesting that Obama and Biden lied to the American people and the investigation into their actions won't take place until AFTER the election.

I remember working homicide and the pressure was on you to get all your evidence in the first 48 hours, not 48 weeks.

At what point will Dems say, "something isn't right?" Or can they? I don't know. I say this because today at our BBQ, a family member and life long Dem, stated, "Republicans want to make unmarried sex illegal because they won't provide birth-control." How do you respond to this stupidity? I have reached the point where I just walk away....
Re: Sec Clinton and Amb Rice still having their jobs, well, that's pretty much par for the course with this Admin. AG Holder still has his job, even after Fast and Furious.
