C'mon, everyone has their own opinion on where is okay, and where is 'weird'. What do you think?
Myself, I have an aversion to belly rings. Not anyone else's, just about getting my own done. I'd prefer not to draw that much attention to my baby fat. ;p
Not for me, but I'm not opposed to those who want them.
I have two earrings in my left ear, and both my nipples done. It stung for a while after I had both nipples done, at separate times (maybe 20 minutes each), but I love them. I like how they look, and how they feel during intimate times. Would do it all again. Actually had to once, as the right ring I highly recommend it to everyone, men or women. Go for ok!

My wife just recently got her second nipple pierced. So, that makes it both nips, belly and a hood piercing. There have been several ladies that have like the hood piercing, they have gotten one themselves. She usually goes with 14k gold and CZ stones so they really sparkle in our Calli sunshine!

I have no issues with piercings, both my wife and I have piercings that would not be acceptable at a number of Clubs. I don't think we are over the top and it should not be such a big issue.

piercing is not for me and I still have none. I think it looks great on other people but I think its a personal preference. Many of my friends are heavily tattooed and have quite a great many piercings all over their bodies a well as few of them are tattoo artists and piercers themselves. Facial piercings are the most commonly seen but other body piercings a and other body mods are coming back as we near the end of the decade. Here in Tallahassee we have almost nine or ten tattoo shops and piercing parlors. Many tattoo shops have an in house piercer and because of the amount of vocational schools and universities in this are many of them are becoming registered nurses because of the obvious sterility needs of such an environment as well as dealing with allergic reactions not previously known to the customer. Because this is a college town and there is a large art and music culture its pretty common to see both girls and guys with snake bites and or septum piercings. However one particular trend that is receding are ear gauges. Some people I know have the holes in their ears gaged up to almost an inch and a half in diameter. I have often mused that they resemble Buddha but only jokingly. Due to employability many of them have taken out their plugs and allowed their ears to slowly close up over the corse of a year or so some just slowly gage back to a smaller more acceptable gauge plug. As a result of certain allergic reactions allot of body jewelry is being made of glass and special non abrasive plastics that can be sterilized and be antibacterial.

On another note I can understand why certain body piercings are not appropriate to certain nudist social interactions especially when it comes to kids, at the same time Im not taking my tattoos off, nor do I view them as vulgar or tasteless

I have two in my left ear lobe, both nipples, a PA, Frenum, Hafada and a Guiche piercing. Have had no negative comments at nudist resorts I visit.
I want to get my tongue pierced.. Any helpful hints? How long would it probably take to heal? Any advise?

I like nose ring studs and belly rings, but I can't stand when someone has piercings anywhere else on the face and not really digging nipple or vaginal piercings either.

Piercings is a matter of choice. Just like being hair free, Tattoos, and Nudism. I got my ear pierced while scuba diving, it has now closed up.

I think body piercings, no matter where, are a personal thing. Those that don't want to be pierced or only have certain, more acceptable body parts pierced (i.e. ears) should not judge those of us who are more aggressive about our piercings. Right now I only have three piercings, all genital, but about 15 years ago had 22 at one time. The only reason I let them close up was because I'm an artist model and it was a lot of work to take them all out for a drawing session and then a pain to put them all back in. But I loved the look and feel of having that many body ornaments. Although I haven't been to a nudist resort for a while, I do respect their rules and remove all my piercings if that's what is required.

I like the look too.but there are clubs that retract piercings.I can see their point, some use piercings to draw attention to certain parts. I don't try to draw attention to my piercings.

I personally don't have a problem with it.I have a pa and some Tats my wife has a few in below the belt. We did have a problem once at a resort here in Tucson the gentleman was very offended by it even thou there no complaints but he didn't want that at the resort so he asked us to leave and not come back .We've been to other resorts were there wasnt a problem at all .

My wife and I are both pierced in our genitals, she has a vertical and I have a frenum. We love our piercings!!!
I like the feel and look of em. I have a PA and wanted the nips done as well. But due to my skin being so sensitive to infections I couldn't get them done. I agree with the mayority here, its a matter of chice and location.

I watched a documentary on Body Modification and they showed all the differant types of piercings and I thought it was interesting what some people do but would not do any of it my self. We are all individuals and piercings and tattoos and they way we cut our hair ex, is just a small part of who we are.

I have tattoos on both arms, legs, and my back. No piercings. I admire some I've seen, not sure what the wearer was thinking on some, but, like our ink, it's a personal preference/statement. I bought my daughter's first ear piercing, and her belly ring. It was her choice.

Congrats, Smokey. Hope you enjoy your piercings. As for knocking on doors, I know that Lake Como in Florida does not discriminate against visitors with piercings. And It's a wonderful, friendly club. By-the-way, what kind of piercings did you get? Take care.
For me piercings are great, I have quite a few and would like to have more. Most of the clubs here in Washington allow piercings

Smokey, I'm not sure if there's a specific time to wait. I always waited until I was sure the piercing was completely healed then started the stretching process. Maybe others have better advice. Good luck.

Smokey, I never heard that about genital pericings stretching on their own. I have five and I've stretched two, the PA and one fernum, using a graduated stetching post and went from a 12 to a 6 on the PA and a 12 to an 8 on the fernum. I took about a week, but was worth it. You can get those stretching posts at most body piercing shops. Carl Mario

I have 6 piercings total. 1 pubic, two lorums , 2 hafadas and a guiche. They range from 10 to 6 guage. After my recent knee surgery, the Doctor asked me about them. I explained that after neck, back , knee, elbow, and a stimulator unit in the buttocks...that was the ONLY place that didn't have metal!...lol

I am considering getting my nips pierced. I really love the look of nips pierced, both for females and males. Any advice from you guys who have them pierced already?

MarcNude, I would suggest that you check out Tribalectic.com. They have photos, experiences people had, and they have answers to any questions you might have. The site contains healing times, infection risks and so on...it's worth a look. I hope I've been of some help...smokey2
