Skin and/or SCUBA Divers Are you a buff diver?
| You know, a real "skin" diver. I have really enjoyed my several chances to skin and scuba dive nude. I have logged nude dives in Hawaii, Florida, Vietnam, and Jamaica and have loved each and every one. I plan on more nude dives soon. Want to join me? | |

| I free dive nude all the time, down to about 50'. I have not been scuba diving nude. So far I've been in water too cold, or with the wrong company. | |
| Wife and I dive nude off of Miami, Florida and in the Bahamas. We have a boat that makes it a lot easier to enjoy the naturalist lifestyle whenever we feel like it. We have a BROWNIE and single backpacks so we don't need to worry about a BC - makes the experience much more enjoyable and no chaffing! However, weight control is essential and we tend to limit depth to about 30 feet. Only challenge we've experienced is periodically we get hit by no-see-ums - microscopic jellyfish that would normally be brushed aside by a wetsuit. But this is a minor issue! | |
| Helps if you have your own boat!! Only ever had a little 17 ft.. Never went off shore.. Never went Scuba nude, just snorkeled | |
| Can't agree more - your own boat is essential which is why we got her - primarily for nudist activities. In fact, her name is 'Bear Essentials' (wife's nickname is 'Bear' and we liked the double meaning!). She also has a nude lady on the transom | |

| Hi again - not much activity going on in this group so I thought I would post an update. We went out to Carysford Reef (off of Key Largo) intending to use our Brownie (surface supplied air unit) and do some buff diving. Unfortunately, the system went into free flow and we couldn't repair it out at sea. Contacted the Brownie factory in Ft Lauderdale. They told me to bring it in, which I did. WOW - talk about customer service! They took the system down, checked the compressor and the individual regulators, found some minor problems and really strove to make sure that the system was totally up and operational! Nothing but a very positive attitude and willingness to make it right - without charge! I would strongly recommend looking in to this system if you love to dive in the buff (no BC to contend with - just a weight belt and the reg in your mouth - talk about ultimate nude freedom!). Anyway, we're looking forward to using this system extensively in the Bahamas and I can assure you that bathing suits will not be in our gearbags! | |

| Starre...have you all tried diving nude around Sugarloaf Key or Little Torch Key...down around Old Towne it is really difficult to dive nude because of exactly what you said...prudish Americans...Big Pine is not to bad either as a place to a bit of nude diving...I live on the Gulf coast sooo I can take my kayak out to the closed oil rigs and dive nude as well as do a bit of spear fishing... | |

| I dive naked whenever I can. I've had the honor of diving in Jamaica, Hawaii, Guam, Mexico, San Diego, all over. The only time I wear trunks or a wet suit is if there are people in the area that might object... My dream trip is the Great Barrier Reef. Maybe we can get a group together... | |

| I am a real "buff diver." I dive nude whenever possible ... that pretty much means warm water! Like the other group member, we chartered a sail boat out of Key West and carried our dive gear all around. I didn't wear anything but my mask, fins, B.C. etc. for several days. I also have a "back inflating" B.C. with integrated weight pockets. That way, there's no constricting jacket or weight belt confining me. | |
| Lloyd, my hat, shorts & shirt are off to you if you dove nude off Black's Beach. I've been there and the surface temperature couldn't have been more than 65 degrees. I can imagine what it was like at depth ... Brrrrr! Give me that 85+ degree tropical water any day! My "bucket list" has Truk Lagoon and Bora-bora on it in the South Pacific. Has anyone in the group gone there? | |
| where can one scuba, snorkel nude in Hawaii? by local input, maps, prior visits. Does PD hassle one??? Im sure its away from main tourist drags?? See Kaanapali Beach, Maui HI as sample. |
