I confess, I do. Probably shouldn't since i try to keep a low carbon footprint, but since the electricity in my apt is included in my rent I usually keep it around 75 in my basement.

YES, I have been known to do so from time to time. I also have the heater set so that the timer will start heating the house in the morning so when I get up I'm not in a mad dash to put something on to get warm. Just makes it easier to get out of bed on those cold mornings.
We maintain 68 degrees mostly, but in the mornings our living room, kitchen and bathroom, can be about 59 or 60 degrees...

We find that we don't need to dress at this temp immediately, but once we are up and about for the day we bring it up to 67 or 68...

Interestingly I can be a little chilled if i am dressed at 67 degrees, but can disrobe, and after 5 or 10 minutes nude at that temp my body adjusts, and i am not cold...

this is at 65 to 68 degrees, not 32 degrees :-)

my wife's internal thermostat is a set little lower than mine though...

I am from Arizona, she is from the UK...

I have gone nude at home in the winter, but I get the evil eye when the heating bill arrives. LOL

Yes, I turn up the heat so that I can be naked. I work at home so I keep my home office in the mid 70's while I'm working.

Beyond a shadow of a doubt. Between fall & spring, it's thermostat wars @ my place.

Yes, I turn up the heat enough to be comfortable and nude.

I'm getting rid of the propane tank in this new home and having natural gas put in so I don't go broke paying the heating bill...
I do turn it up a little. I am so used to being nude all the time that it would be very uncomfortable for me to have to be dressed just to keep the heat turned down a few degrees.
In the winter I crank the heat up to the mid 70's and sometimes to 80 degrees. I live in an apartment and they installed all new energy efficient appliances before I moved in. I've never had an electric bill over $100.00 yet.

I maintain it at 68-70 degrees daytime and 60 at night. Currently, I have a duplex in an under-insulated victorian house, so nude or not, the temps have to be set higher...At least, with utilities on a budget plan, the bill is set at $156 a month. If the new roomie proves not to be a nudist, well, I guess it will be 66 daytime and 60 at night.
I work outside, rain or shine. I'm gonna be comfortable when I get home. And that means no clothes and a warm house in the winter.

Unfortunately with the budget times we keep the heat at 62 on the 1st and 58 on the 2nd floors. when the house cools down enough we have to break out the robes and spend alot of time in the hot tub.

Usually keep it at 72 which is warm enough.

60 is a bit cool if you don't have full sun, but yeah I don't mind mid to high 60's if I'm moving around a bit.

I try to keep my house and workshop around 74 in the winter so I can be nude at home. I really prefer it to be 80 or higher but not in the house, I guess that?s why I like the south and hate living here in the north.
That depends on the cost of heating oil - sometimes have to suffer a the textile home

Where our thermostat is kept during the summer, winter, spring and fall months allows me to remain naked inside all the time.

My wife will don socks, flannel shirt or robe to maintain her comfort level.

On the 2-3 days a week I work from home I will turn it up which the wife enjoys when she gets home.

So the electric bill won't cause me to faint, we keep the thermostat set to 68 during the colder months. However, we do have ceramic heaters in the rooms we most frequent. When there's a gathering of nudists at our place, we generally bump up the temp. a bit.

I keep the heat at around 72-75 in the winter and air conditioning all summer. It is a priority to keep my house comfortable so that my friends and I can be naked year round.

I just wish that I could! When you are on a LOW fixed income, you make some sacrifices. I do have a light-weight, flannel-like robe that I wear. Funny thing is, when I lived in Colorado and went to Orvis Hot Springs, all I wore traveling there and back and at the resort, was my grey robe.

Usually not. Just too darn expensive. Do have a space heater for my office so I can work nude all year long. Home office.

I try to keep it down. I put clothes on. but about 5 minute clothes come off heat goes up. (maybe next time)
It rarely gets cold enough during the "waking hours" in the winter-time to need to "turn up the heat" (at least, not for me)

... now, if only I lived in a more "nude-friendly" home
i keep the temp at 70 all year round
so i guess it is no i don't turn the heat up so i can go nude

I have the past 4 winters in our apartment. But this next winter I will be paying for the heat in my own house so we'll have to wait and see.

Here in SoCal I don't use the heater or A/C more than 5 days each a year. We have perfect weather for the scanty human pelt.

I like to be nude year round at my house but I do wear cloths if it is to cold.I keep the heat at 65 to 68. In the Summer I keep the AC set at 80. Trying to use as little energy as I can.

My new roomie is also naked as often as possible, and last winter we kept the house at 70 degrees. Now, since her 18 y/o daughter will be staying while she's in college, we each made comfy fleece robes for winter and cotton ones for summer. Temps will probably set at 65-67 day and 60 nites this coming heating season. Naked plus the robes for modesty and we're comfortable.

Gillybean, have you asked the roomie's daughter how she feels about ndism? Maybe she might be a fledgling nudist and only needs acceptance.

Last winter, my wife and I lived in Colorado on the Western Slope. Our utility bills were averaging $300.00/month. We had to wear something all winter! We moved here to California in March and so far, our highest bill has been $59.00. I think that, this year, we'll leave the thermostat at a comfortable level.

John
i keep the heat at 70

I keep the thermostat at 74 year around...of course I live in teh south so we do not have a great deal of cold weather but 74 for me is comfortable and consistent
I'll just run the fire place in the room we're usually in. Keeping the entire house really warm is expensive! I'm not opposed to blankets haha.

I guess I do put the heat on in the mornings when it is chilly but for the most part if I keep busy there is no need. I keep a little space heater beside my chair in my office during the winter and the rest of the house will be cool at that time, 68 is the norm for me. Now as for summer here in Southern Arizona, no need for anything at all, I'm nude from late April to mid Oct!!! All day all night. Almost paradise but it can get hot.

We have found running a propane heater called Mr. Heater which is the only one rated for indoor use, off a 20 pd tank is soo much cheaper than any electric. And at 5-9000 btu raises the room we spend the most time in 5-10 degrees. Rest of the house 66.

I do turn up the heat to about 75 when home alone, or with my daughter when she visits, so we can be comfortable. Otherwise, the temp's at 68 round the clock. My wife doesn't like it too warm, says it makes her itch, while in the summer we keep the house at 82 - 83, for the wife's comfort since she gets cold very easily. Seems strange, I know but, it's the facts.

The internal thermostat isn't working very well these days, so I keep our house pretty warm in winter. Some areas only about 72-74, but the bedroom is at 78. Any cooler in there, and it is too cold to get undressed and take a shower. In the summer, we only air condition down to about 81-82.

Most definitely; but also to a certain extent, I enjoy being nude in cooler weather as well.

Environmentally it's a bit over the top to crank up the heat just to go naked... not to mention the drain on the bank account. I do use a fireplace when it's cold enough though, and that make SO much heat that going nude is definitely the way to go then.

My thermostat is set on 75. Summer, the switch goes to AC. Winter it goes to heat. Most of the time it stays in the 'Off' position, as I'm outside pretty much all day. Flannel sheets and a nice quilt keep the heater off most nights. But, when it's a hundred plus, definitely AC!!!

People spend their money the way they see fit...for them. If keeping your house at a degree that is suitable for you to be naked and that's the way you want to spend your money...so be it.

I'm all for be environmental but...I don't get over the top with it to the point where I'm not comfortable in my own home...naked or clothed.

;)

We also like to use the fireplace which adds 2-4 degrees to the family room but it is an older very ineffficient insert. I want to upgrade to a new one but she won't.

I have raised the temp when necessary. Hower, usually by covering up with a Snuggie I find I'm comfortable with the thermostat at 68 degrees.
