You don't know just how sensible that is! My wife and I met a guy on-line and then in a public place. I had reservations about him but he was so "needy" I didn't know how to back off and check with him again. As time went on, things started coming out about him and I finally told him to get lost and forget he had ever met us. All this is saying, is be prepared to schedule at least a second meeting even if your initial impression is good. ALWAYS take a second look.

nudecojohn Posted: Apr 13, 2013	Olivia, thanks I did not know anything about the waxed-paper bags. Never heard of them before. Every once in a while, my wife wants boiled chicken. Lots of onion and garlic with a little salt and MAYBE some celery. NOT soup. I just HATE to toss the broth, so I have begun putting it up in jars; 1/2 pint sized (I think) and use the broth for making rice or as a base for soup. I do use SOME jars. lol I guess part of my previous post was a rant about/against the way my life went instead of the way I wanted it to go. Thanks for listening. --------------------- This group is a good place to get ideas from others and now you can start to do those things. We can start a thread just on those little ideas too. nudecojohn Posted: Apr 12, 2013	I have always wanted to be set up where I provided my own food, power, shelter, and whatever clothing was necessary. During my first marriage, it never seemed to be able to happen and I wasn't sure why. I had my suspicions. After I left her, my ex told my wife that she (the ex) had sabotaged our budget from day one so that I would NEVER realize my dreams. My wife and I now live on low SSA (and it is constantly diminishing) income. We DO recycle as much as we can. We have drastically changed our eating habits over the last two years and are trying to get our buying habits in line. We can't buy in small enough portions for our eating habits so, we still use plastic bags to break the purchase sizes down to the size we use. I don't have a place for a garden, so I don't have one. I DO miss that.

Although I'll probably never achieve my dreams of sustainable, Independent living due to my age and income level (mostly the latter), I still have much I can contribute and learn. I have spent a lot of years studying and designing around solar energy. I had not considered using bamboo as a foundation in the manner described but it sounds like sound technology.

My experience is that, when a woman (or a man) tells you something, LISTEN. Example: The resident manager of our complex is a woman. She is very capable and makes sure she knows what she is talking about before speaking. Due to state law, we had carbon monoxide (CO) detectors installed in ALL the apartments. One lady was asking the manager why the alarm would go off what to do if it did. The manager explained succinctly all about it and told her that if the alarm went off to just get out of the apartment. The resident just kept asking; nothing the manager said mattered. So, I looked at the manager and she nodded to me and I told the woman EXACTLY the same thing. The woman told me thank you. Why wasn't what the manager said good enough? It SHOULD have been!!! Olivia, this was NOT aimed at you only at the situation you were describing. Women like I perceive you to be do not look down on others (unless their actions require it). You take people at face value and treat them as you would like to be treated.
Questions, Help and Support Group Membership

As things turned out, over the little more than a year it has been "around" there have been only three others seeking membership and no real activity. After I figured out there was no interest, I tried to eliminate the group to no avail. I even messaged Brian and asked for the group to be removed. It is still there. There have now been a couple of others who have requested membership and I have ignored them. It seems that, once a group is formed and approved, there is no way to remove it. I would do so if I could.

What I see these days it that we need to withdraw from the UN and REQUIRE them to relocate to another country. I am close to being an Isolationist: bring our troops home, post them around our borders, and allow NO-ONE in. We might invite both Canada and Mexico to join us IF they (especially Mexico) adopt our laws.

She is very verbose about how much she slept around and with whom while she was young and in the WAVES. She gives me a "rough" time about being a nudist because it is "disgusting." I just ignore her. We are a group that want to see the Constitution re-installed and PROPERLY upheld other than word of mouth. Personally, I don't identify with any party because I have been known to vote eclectically depending on the election, the issues and the candidate. Since you are Libertarian, you know one of the "secrets" that the media tries to cover up: We are NOT a two party system. Abe Lincoln was a third-party candidate. There have been other presidents elected that were from/of a party not considered to be the main two. BTW: Did you boot the offender or are you letting him have some rope?

However, even with those laws in place, public acceptance is not on line. There have been a LOT of women in NYC shedding their tops and bras this summer. There has even been a women's club formed there where the women go to parks or other public areas and sit around and read various books topless (some wear VERY small bottoms as well).

Yes, I believe Them to be OUR literal parents (we are ALL brothers and sisters regardless of race, belief, etc.[my opinion]) I believe them to be equal to each other and neither in charge of the other or superior to the other. I have found organized religion to have too many holes to be tolerated. I was a Mormon from 1967 to 2008. One of the areas that I find exception to is the treatment of women.

nudecojohn Posted: Dec 9, 2012	My wife is a "sometimes" nudist. She likes the freedom of being nude in all circumstances. However, of the people we've met who proclaim to be nudists, only one was a woman (a part of a couple) and we've never been nude around them because we only met/saw them once. Because of this, she feels nudism is more of "a man thing." So, I try to friend women (mostly couples) who MIGHT be close enough to actually meet. The couple mentioned above lives 40 miles away and my wife really can't travel much anymore. If there were someone here in our town we could "share" the traveling/visiting. Hasn't worked as yet, though as everyone I've seen that might be close enough are over in Bakersfield which is 40 miles. Oh, well.

There is SUPPOSED to be a line-up of all the planets on one side of the sun. I don't know if this is true because, I don't care and I haven't researched it. There are scientific speculations that say such a line up would cause EXTREME gravitational forces on the planet that would set off ALL the volcanoes which would unleash all the tectonic plates causing earthquakes and then the tsunamis. That is the mechanics of what the world enders are saying, anyway. If it happens, it happens and there is nothing anyone can do to stop it so, I don't care. John

Some years ago, I was in a bad situation and looking for the more salacious side of things and frequented those types of chat rooms. I fell into some bad habits. I am in a much better situation and no longer need or want the salacious types of activity. However, when I tried to go to more normal chat rooms, I found myself falling back into those salacious habits and became embarrassed. Therefore, I steer clear of chat rooms.

Here where we live, we are so open about us being nudists that we have found out we are talked about in the town (not what was said about us just, "Oh! You're the ones I've heard about!). We hired a girl to do some cleaning for us. We were never even near the nude when she was here but found out that SHE was warned that we are nudists. Even so, we are both well respected in our small community and have others that truly, caringly watch out for us.

However, we have been to a CO resort in Colorado and to Pirate's Cove Nude Beach in California. She turned 66 this year (that is to give you a reference for the following) our first trip to the Resort was December of 2009. She surprised me by getting nude with me, this was OUR first time for social nudity (unless you count swimming class at in Junior and High School and a few times skinny dipping at a pond with a friend0. She is the one who set up our return visit because she had felt more accepted there than any other place in her life. Besides her age, she was/is overweight and has had a lot of surgeries so she is well scarred. She had the same experience at Pirate's Cove. So, the point of this is adding to your assertion that nudist/naturists "not nosy and judgmental, and know how to behave."

nudecojohn Posted: Nov 16, 2012	When our nation was first formed and the Constitution adopted, the Federal Government was secondary to the State Government. Basically, the only "job" the Fed had was to intercede between the several states and negotiate with foreign countries. Laws that were passed on a state level superseded those of the week, central government. Passage of the 17th Amendment cancelled most of the checks and balances of the Constitution. There have been further instances where the Feds have overstepped their Constitutional bounds and those steps have been upheld by the Supreme Court, thus they have become illegal laws. The point is, if we were still a Constitutional country, Colorado's and Washington's laws would NOT be in question and the Feds would back down. John

nudecojohn Posted: Nov 14, 2012	When I have to dress, what/where I'm going and who with decides what I wear. Winter time, I have a warm Monk's robe I wear to get the mail and in general. Winter, I also wear long pants (blue jeans) with a tee-shirt and a jacket. Sometimes I wear a long-sleeved pull-over shirt. For working in my shop, I have a couple pairs of cargo fatigues that I wear with a tee-shirt and a hoodie I will also wear these to get the mail. Summer time, I wear nothing but shorts (mostly bargos) and a tee-shirt. My summer robe has gotten to be too disreputable to wear in public, so I put on my knock-around shorts (of which I have several pairs) to check the mail and to work in my shop. Recently, in the summer, I have worked in my shop nude and really enjoy that. My tee-shirts are mostly white and not ostentatious. I do have two that are better fitting and that my wife likes to see on me so I wear one of them when we are out together. I would like to have a couple pairs of cargo pants that are blue jean or dark blue or black. I would also like to have a pair or to of dark bargos. With those additions, I need no other clothing. BTW: In case there are those who don't know what bargos are, they are Bermuda shorts with the extra pockets of cargo pants.

nudecojohn Posted: Oct 5, 2012	One of the things this discussion and others like it show is that the ones who find us "overweight blimps" (an imprecise quote) disgusting are the young fit ones (not necessarily you, Sunman) who have not yet reached the age where their metabolisms have slowed down or their ability to get up and move has diminished. The young are almost always judgmental. As a youth (teenager) I had a friend who had been a steveadore for his working career. He had been muscled like a weight lifter. After he aged where he couldn't keep up the lifting and his back gave way, his skin began to sag. He wasn't fat, obese, or in anyway overweight. As a matter of fact, he was underweight and the doctors were concerned because they couldn't get him to gain weight. He would hold his arm straight out to the side of his body and the skin of his upper arm would droop nearly to his waist. You could say that he was disgusting until you got to know him. Those of you who judge by the appearance of a person whether that person is the way they are by their own actions or through no fault of their own (i.e. health issues) are the ones that lose out. You are the ones that are shallow, close, and narrow minded. Your day WILL come.

I've watched her try to just go for a walk and I've had to go get the car and come pick her up when she has collapsed (she sits down rather than fall down). We have been shopping and she has had to sit down. I don't ALLOW her to do much walking along those lines anymore, she just plain can't. This is not the first time this subject has been discussed on this site and EVERYTIME it is brought up it is done so by some near-sighted, close-minded, so-n-so that says, "Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the ..." nudecojohn Posted: Oct 2, 2012	Over 40 and overweight. Yep, that describes me and my wife. Let's see: Don't care I've gone from 213 lbs October of 2011 to 190 lbs this year. My wife has gone from 268 lbs to 216 lbs in the same time frame. Yeah, we eat whatever we want whether it is a hamburger, pizza, candy, snacks, or whatever. We've learned to control the SIZE of the portions we eat. Are we changing other things about how/what we eat? Yep! I do all the cooking and baking (very little of that). I use little or no salt. We have cut WAY down on the amount of meat we eat. What has prompted this? I have had my wife in the hospital 5 times this year (2012, only). She nearly died in January. Why is she heavy? Fibromyalgia, Lupus, pacemaker for nearly 30 years, CHF (because her heart has degenerated), COPD (we are told that it goes hand-in-hand with CHF), cardia meglea (I probably spelled both of those wrong, it means an enlargement of the heart also from degeneration f the heart), and Stroke (TIAs). Can she exercise? She had a physical therapist coming once a week to help her exercise. The exercise was causing her more pain (not exercise related pain) than she could tolerate. What is the point of this post? When I graduated high school, I was on a weight gain diet and exercise regimen which gained me 20 lbs in three years. I was underweight and undersized for my age. I have been up to 250 lbs. Armadillo, just wait, your time is coming. I've been there where I was teased and ridiculed for being skinny. Now, I have jerks doing the same because I'm overweight. My metabolism changed almost overnight when I was about 35, my normal body temperature went down, my ability to throw off illness also went down (thank goodness my susceptibility to illness didn't increase). I see you are just BARELY over 40. You have not yet had experiences that have changed your mind set. You see a fat person ANYWHERE around you (textiled or otherwise) get over it! As Lacy and myself have pointed out from personal experience, you know nothing about us or why we are like we are. You expect us to give you a break and accept you without knowing you, and we should! But YOU should be just as accepting of us John

Our first year in California had us going to Pirate's Cove, a nude beach here. We loved it but she will probably never go again. She almost died going back to the car. Even the beaches without the steep climb are far enough away from parking the car as to prevent her from attending them. She does have an electric scooter but it would not be practical around soft sand and water. I have found that there are beach wheelchairs and scooters available but they are WAY expensive to purchase. John

There were MANY programs on TV that showed nudity during "family time." If a commercial was about panties, the model wore only panties etc. There were many summer days (warm for them, cold for me) where secretaries from building around would spend their lunch hour in the park, sunbathing nude. We have discovered that as long as it is brighter outside than inside, no-one can see more than about 2'-3' through the window and that is even with the lights on. At night we keep the blinds closed. On darker days. I wear shorts.

Sometimes, being alone to go hiking etc. ISN'T the best idea and doesn't have anything with being or not being complete in one's self. I would really like to go freehiking, fishing, and other "stuff" of that ilk. At my age, however, it isn't sensible for me to do so alone. I'm in good to fair (or whichever is least to most) shape. I don't have any prescription drugs that I take. I have fair stamina (not as much as I had when I was younger) but still not bad. Although my wife would REALLY love to do these things with me, she can't. The other thing is that I don't know places for me to go where it is relatively safe to be nude. John

One of my friends on Facebook, a pregnant woman, was part of the nude bikeride in her area. Some, I'll just say, interesting fellow took several pictures of her from various angles and posted them on a porn site. All without her permission. A co-worker, who knew she was/is a nudist saw the pics and told her. She very widely posted about the abuse of those pics and, I believe, the site did get shut down. It is NEVER a good thing to take pictures of someone NOT in your party. It is too bad that no-one else stood up with you about that, FireProf. John

They had on bathingsuits under rodes and we had on just robes as we left the house. On the way, we told them that it was perfectly ok for them to keep their suits on if they wanted. We were going to be naked. We didn't say anything else about it. When we got to the resort, we did, indeed, get into the pool nude and they were suited. Within a half hour, they were both nude and got upset when had to put on robes to go into the building (the rules there) for lunch. After lunch, we again went out to the pools and they stripped of along with us. After that, they wanted to be nude at their house and their mom was uncomfortable with that. She was ok with the kids being nude at our house and with us but not with her. John

We got to watch the fireworks in the nude. Our room had a perk giving us that opportunity. Saw Captain EO (twice), Star Tours (this was GREAT!!!), and all our favorites. We saw Fantasmic on Tuesday naight and REALLY liked that. The stage play going on at the Hyperion Theatre in California Adventure was Aladdin. It was also great. Had a great time but we wished it would have been possible to meet some of you there. One day, one of my neighbors "anonymously" called and threatened us if they ever saw her outside without a diaper again. I called them by name and asked them just how they would keep a diaper on a child that didn't want it on. I told them that if they ever threatened me again, I'd call the police on them. Never heard another word from them. A few years later, we had moved to Texas and my then youngest daughter had the same problem; wouldn't keep her diaper on. The neighbors here just laughed and called her "the streak." Thing is, this child would climb pine trees naked and never got scratched. Go figure. John

While in Colorado, where we had our first experience with public nudity, Orvis Hot Springs was close enough to travel there, about 1 hour. The day fee was $14.00/person, so $28 for the both of us for the day. Had we stayed in Colorado, we would have been back many times. We were even saving to buy a membership. But, then we moved to California. We had a friend here who took us several places where nude soaking was accepted but were inaccessible to my wife. After we get the bills paid off, things might be different for us. Maybe gas prices will even go down by then. Also, it would help if the clubs and resorts would have lower rates for Senior Citizens. I had an accident after I brought it to the States and totaled it (I was used to driving in England). My first computer was a home-made Apple 2+ (I called it a +++ because I had programmed in some extras). This was even before there were floppy discs. Data was either entered via keyboard or cassette tape. I did get a floppy drive for it later, however. That computer is still around and still works, if there were programs to run on it. John
New to Nudism First Time Stories
nudecojohn Posted: Dec 22, 2010	Wow! My first time with public nudity was at Orvis, too. Same with my wife. We went for the first time December 10, 2009. It was really great! I had expected my wife to wear her swim suit but when we got to the pool and took off our robes (it was too cold to go naked out of the pools) she was naked, too. Spent the day there soaking and meeting people. Our next visit was in January, 2010, This time, we took our grandkids, boy 10 and girl 6. We told them they could keep their swim suits on if they wanted but grandma and I were not. Within a half hour, they were naked too and complained when we had to get our robes on to go inside to eat. We now live in California but are planning a trip to Orvis in March. We will be taking our 45-year old daughter and a friend of ours with us. John

Such sensitivities have nothing to do with their desire to be total nudists; it is a health issue thay have no control over. Any community MUST take ito consideration these people as well as those with no sensitivity. A clothing-optional community would cover both. Besides, we're not discussing a nude/CO beach or resort. We are discussing a community where people live, work, and associate 24/7. Gawkers would not be comfortable in such a location as they would definitely stick out and be readily recognizable. John

nudecojohn Posted: Oct 28, 2010	This is exactly what I'm trying to do. As much as my wife and would love to go to a nudist resort, we probably never will because of the expense. We are on Social Security and have no other income. I have met r/t several people through this or another of the nudist sites to which I belong. These folks and I would like to start a landed club. We can't do it by ourselves. I have "met" many people in the San Joaquin Valley on the sites. I'm trying to get people together in any venue where we can meet and get to know one another in a non-threatening situation. The only responses have been resorts. Ain't gonna happen due to the expense and other issues people have with resorts. It seems that there isn't anyone who cares enough to make suggestions that will allow ALL interested people to attend. I would be very happy to have a nude venue that was close enough and inexpensive enough for my wife and I to attend but there isn't. Since that is the only response I have received, I guess that ends it. I'm done trying. John

Every one here knows that both my wife and I are nudists. During the costume conversation, my wife told the ladies we were sitting with that I was going to the party as a nudist. Our through-the-wall (we live in a quadplex) neighbor was sitting with her chin in her hands and trying not to smile or blush and then it happened. Great big grin and red cheeks. The day of he party, that neighbor told several of the other ladies here that I was going as a nudist and I must say, I was definitely ogled. LOL I went as a wizard. I decided the next time it comes up in conversation to tell them that, when outside, I am ALWAYS dressed as a nudist in a textile world. John

This beach is next door to the San Gregorio State Beach to the north. There is a parking fee and has definite hours in which it is open. The longest hours is on the weekends. But it is year round. nudecojohn Posted: Oct 18, 2010	1) Not every one, nudist or not, is comfortable being nude when meeting new people. 2) Not every one can afford the fees at resorts. 3) Some of the members here are single men and are barred from the resorts but not from this invitation. 4) The reason for the suggestion for meeting in Tulare or Corcoran is to limit the amount of travel or to somewhat equalize the travel. Since there is not a resort or clothing optional venue there, I guess clothed will have to do. John

The room that was invaded had french doors all the way along both of the outside walls. After the b&e, he hired a guy to remove all but one set of the doors and build walls instead. The construction was finished and my friend asked if I would go help him paint the interior. I did. It was great! Didn't have to worry about getting paint on my clothes. This was a first for me John

The old ones were on the van when we bought it and they brought us out here from Colorado. And, the front end had a toe alignment problem so they were nearly to the belts. One of my mates form England and I went to a Mediterranean beach that was off base. The northern boundry of the base was the Med. My friend was even whiter than was I. After a while, I told him to put on a shirt because he was burning. He didn't. The next day, he was so sore, he went on sick call and had third degree burns across his shoulders. He almost got a dishonorable discharge for damaging government property. John

nudecojohn Posted: Jul 29, 2010	People are always saying that they won't cook/fry in the nude. Why? I do so all the time. If you get splattered when frying, you are NOT doing it correctly. Yes, I fry bacon while nude. Picking blackberries... well, I've never done that nude, but was barefoot. When I was a teenager and younger, it was almost impossible to get shoes on my feet either winter or summer. Mom would YELL at me for going outside in winter barefoot but I did it anyway. What would I NOT do nude? I wouldn't weld and would probably not use a metal lathe or process metal where the hot pieces would hit me. That is about all I can think of at present. Of course i wouldn't do anything nude where textile-minded folk would see. Wouldn't care for the reactions. John

nudecojohn Posted: Jun 25, 2010	Haven't had a pet for many years. Last was fish. However, many years ago, I had a hognosed snake for a pet. Mom wouldn't allow it in the house, even in its cage. The cage was an old aquarium that wouldn't hold water with a screen-wire lid. So, we/I kept it on the car port. There was about 1-1/2" of sandy dirt in the bottom, a fairly large rock, and its water dish in the cage. Didn't need a food dish as I fed it live food (frogs and rats). When my dad, brother, sister, or I would come outside, the snake would rise up and shift around watching us sticking its tongue out as snakes do. When my mom would come out, the snake would hiss and dive under the rock and hide the entire time she would be there. John

We told them that they didn't have to take their swimsuits off but could if they wanted to. Within about a half hour, they both did. And yes, we were in the main pool. There is no "kiddie" pool. All the pools are for everybody. The only way to teach the kids to not have body issues is to show them with yourself and others. The kids had a great time and really didn't want to get dressed to leave. John

He stayed the night with us Thursday as he didn't have to work on Friday. On Friday, we went to Soda Lake on the Carrizo Plains. We were just about to strip off for him to take a pictue when we looked up and saw a pick up arrive. Yesterday, we ate at the Penny Bar in McKittrick. We met a young woman there who is a nudist. We talked with her for quite a while. Later, we went to the Tule Elf Reserve near Bakersfield (at Tupman) We met the ranger there and asked him about places to go to be nude. He told us a few. Here, now is the point of this long post: Our friend asked us how we had the "guts" to talk about being nudists. We told him why not we are not ashamed of it and we always have a favorable reception about it. There are some who have said that is not for them but didn't get on a tirade with us about it. Anyway, we pull no bones about being nudists and asking locals for places tha afford us nudist opportunities. John

My wife and I have been married for 2+ years, our daughter-in-law (dil) says my wife married me for my hands. Although the dil has body issues and even has a hard time letting our son touch her other than sexually, she has let me give her a massage. My wife has fibromyalgia. My ability with my hands has many times eased her pain. She calls me "Magic Hands." Anyone in our area that would like is welcome to meet us and then come by for massages. Especially reciprocal! John

She does like to feel the breeze and SOME sun on her bare skin but just not too much. When she starts to burn and must put something on, should she be forced to leave, to lose the enjoyment of the association of others just because she has reached her limit? Usually, she will later again strip. John

We then went up the coast to Santa Maria before turning back east toward Maricopa and Taft. I didn't know about Rincon beach at that time so we didn't find any nude beaches. We did go to the beach at Carpinteria. I had heard about a beach that was C.O. where one went down a stair and the C.O. area was to the west of the stair. When I was younger and my kids were, too, I had a bike and would give them rides all over the place. One of my daughters and I were reminiscing about it one day and she turned to her husband and said they needed to get a bike. He said, "Oh no! Not me, those things are dangerous!" Being new to nude entertaining, we didn't jump right in to getting our clothes off. But shortly, we did. Our guest was here long enough that I prepared dinner for the three (my wife, our new friend, and myself). I have cooked while nude before but not for a "stranger." Although I don't own a weapon of any sort; handgun, rifle, or shotgun, I have fired several of them and did enjoy doing so (at a target set up against a tree). One of the important things about the freedoms we have here in America is that the coin to pay for them is blood. Should we ever totally lose those freedoms, it will again COST blood to regain them. Most people see the threat to our freedoms as invasion from outside. Ain't so! Our modern government has become increasingly socialist over the years. The biggest threat to our freedoms is from the LARGE, POWERFUL central government. History tells us that socialists in Poland made the citizens there register ALL weapons of every sort, including bow and arrow. When the Nazis invaded Poland, they took these beautiful rolls and confiscated all weapons from the citizens. It made it SOOO easy for the Nazis. Yes, the second amendment,"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed," is a right that has been earned for us by the shedding of our father's blood. Here in our new home (apartment) in California, we make no bones about us being nudists and have had some positive reactions and interest. I have always HATED clothing and would be naked anytime I thought I could get away with it. As a teenager, my best friend and I even went fishing on the Brazos River in Texas naked. When I MUST put on clothes, I put on the minimum I can get away with. As you can tell from my other post, our family, indeed, knows about our penchant for nudity. We have just moved into a Senior-citizen, low-income apartment complex in Taft, California that even has a swimming pool. Of the 60 apartments and 61 residents here, there are only 8 men. At the first activities meeting, my wife suggested a skinny-dipping party and was actually very well received. One of our neighbors had the habit of just knocking on the door and walking in. When told that I am a nudist, she just looked at me and smiled. So, yeah, our friends, family, and MOST of our neighbors know we are nudists. John

She has had several surgeries and is somewhat over weight. Our first venture was at Orvis Hot Springs in Colorado. Afterwards, she had felt so comfortable that she started making plans for our next visit. She has also looked into us joining AANR. I've always been more comfortable nude than she. We had planned for our next visit to Orvis to take one of the grandkids (boy 9, girl 7). We asked their mom and permission was granted. Our next trip to Orvis actually included both of the grandkids. We told them they did not need to remove their swimsuits but could if they wanted. Soon, they were both naked and groaned when they had to put the suits on to go back. All in all, it was two great experiences. John

No fence, no privacy, and permission NOT to build a fence or grow anything tall. However, on my last night there, late at night when nothing was moving, I DID go outside naked for just a minute (it was cold!). Here in California, we live in a low-income, senior-citizen apartment complex. We have a SMALL patio with a privacy fence but no gate and we aren't allowed to have a privacy gate. Again, however, I have been on my patio naked. It was VERY early before anyone was stirring. I would absolutely LOVE to be able to live the rest of my life naked. I hate clothes. John

My wife and I went on a planned trip to Orvis Hot Springs. Orvis is a clothing optional resort. I have a gray, flannel-like, polyester, monk's robe that I wear when it is too cold to be naked. My wife has one, also. On the way to Orvis, all I wore was this robe, shoes and socks, and a winter jacket. I took my swimsuit because the indoor pool at Orvis is clothing only. When we got there, I changed from my shoes and socks into my sandals that I took along. My wife went to the Ladies Changing Room and changed. She came out in her gray robe. I thought that she would have her swimsuit on under the robe. When we got to the main pool, I stripped of my robe and turned to her. She had stripped off her robe and was also naked. For the rest of the day, she either had on the robe or was naked. When we went home, neither of us had anything on except the robes. She enjoyed it so much, she is plotting to figure out how we can get a years membership to Orvis. She told an employee there that she, "?is old, fat, and has had a lot of surgeries and, therefore an lot of scars. I wasn't made to feel old, ugly, or inferior. I wasn't even intimidated by the young, fit women here." She wants to go again. We want to move to California for the warmer winter weather along the coast between San Francisco and Los Angeles and the cooler summer weather there. I was thinking about joining an over 60 group on another site recently and be danged if a poem didn't come to mind. Iffn y'all might like to read it: Over Sixty Over sixty, though just barely, How can it be! As the song goes, "I'm much too young to feel this damn old!" Wasn't it only yesterday that? I graduated high school? I went into the Air Force? I entered college? Oh well, A good run it was. A life time of skills, They're still mine, you know. Parents and grandparents all gone. And a grandchild, too. My kids with kids, oh goodness. Among the oldest generation am I. With much behind me, And much more to go, Again, "I'm much too young to feel this damn old!" All I can say is?
