Inland Empire Nudists arrow How to have fun as a nudist in the fall & winter time

This is a great topic. One good friend ends up not going out to the club at all, preferring to stay at home, albeit nude, in front of the roaring fireplace. And that's nice, but it gets old.

Here in So. Cal., it's not unusual to have day or two with weather in the 70's, and I always try to take advantage of those days. It is fun at GE, to see all the usual summer suspects back out on those weekends, soaking up the sun, even if its not 90*. And for the other weekends, the club always has indoor activities planned, inside, with the heat turned up, to encourage naked partying.

I will also stop by the resort on weekdays, in the evening, if I am driving by, to take dip in the jacuzzi. The colder it is outside, the more I enjoy the heat of the 'cuzzi. AND, there are usually more people in there in the winter than in the summer, so, there's almost always a few friendly people to visit with, as the cares of the day slowly float away.

One of my favorite winter events at the club is the Super Bowl party, with a hundred or so of my best friends whooping and hollerin'at each play. It just don't get no better than that. Chao, baby

hi all, sorry, I've been out of town a lot. This week at GE they are having my favorite band, Slingshot, and the theme is Super Hero. Come one, come all, for a great dance. The weather might even co-operate. As always, karaoke Friday night at 8:00
Inland Empire Nudists arrow ...so, what are you doing this weekend?

You're welcome, Sheri. Perhaps we can use this topic for people to log on and tell what their Thanksgiving plans are. For myself, I will probably be out of town with family. Low key, but the grandchildren make it all worthwhile.

Sheesh! What a great Halloween Party at GE. Unbelievable costumes. Hundreds! Hope you all had fun at your home clubs too!

Things don't slow down too much at GE, even with the holiday's approaching. Nov. 14th will be our annual celebration of Veteran's Day, starting with free funnel cakes in the am, and a presentation by one of our own veterans, followed by a live band dance in honor of our Vets in the evening.

The following Sat. night is a Leather and Lace themed party, with another live band.

Lastly, for those of our members who are not going to be with their own family on Thanksgiving, our cafe will be providing a complete dinner, for just $12. Bon Apetite!

Party on, Garth

yes, that's what we're all hoping for. realistically, though, the Cahill policy was all we had going for us. it was not posted "nude" -ever, and in fact, there was a constant reminder that we were considered interlopers with a sign at the entry gate, posted "No Nudity in the State Parks".

nudity on state property will always be a dicey issue, depending on the powers that be at the moment. Bates, and Summerland, both in Santa Barbara, have been lost more than once, on the complaint of a single old lady. go figure...

ok, GE is hosting their second biggest party of the winter season this weekend, of course, the Halloween bash. because of past attendance, only members and their invited guests are allowed. the event begins friday night with a special showcase, a "lounge act" Jimmy Reno, singing make-out classics at 8:00pm (every one invited, but first-timers need to get there before 5:00pm for the requisite tour).

a DJ Dance follows the lounge act, presented by our very own Rod Marshall. rock city!!!

one disappointment this year is the notable absence of the terrific Haunted Houses we've been treated to in the past. Guess we're giving Nina a well-deserved Halloween vacation this year.

saturdays big event, the Halloween Party and Costume Contest begins at 8:30pm, featuring one of our favorite live bands, Hot Tin Roof! It's the best "free" party of the year!

PARTY ON GARTH...!

this group might be the perfect place for all of us So Cal nudists to log on and let friends know which club/beach/private party they are going to in the next week or two. maybe make open invitations to join in. maybe make pot-luck suggestions, or maybe even try to get an informal party going as an add-on to a local club event.

for instance, one of our good friends at GE is having a party both before and after the big Halloween party for snacks, drinks, and taking photos, something we of course cannot do at the big party itself. great idea, huh?!!!

so, invite your friends to join this group, and stay in touch. talk to you soon...

this is definitely a set back, but i got the impression from the comments of the head of the State Parks system that he didn't intend to do ticketing sweeps of the beach. i felt he was just pleased to have the law validated so he could call for sweeps if he felt them necessary.

do we know facts to the contrary?

also, i feel that San Onofre was perhaps not the best place to "draw a line in the sand" so to speak. ever since our "beach mom" marianna left, there has been spotty "self-enforcement", resulting in higher "pervert sightings" which was the beginning of the end. i don't mean to disparage the attempts of those who have been carrying on in her footsteps, however, we haven't had the relationship with the life guards that we once did.

it is a sad situation, nonetheless, and we should all do what ever we can to support the efforts of those who are working tirelessly to save this traditional nudist beach.

hi sheri, thanks for getting this local group started -i hope more people can see the value of networking Inland Empire nudist news. for the time being, i'll report on Glen Eden: this weekend has a Western theme, with a live western/rock band, Western Express, starting at 8:00pm, saturday night. of course, friday night is karaoke, and this week it's rod marshall, who makes it fun for everyone, singers and listener/dancers alike. Y'll come, ya hear...
