With about 200 different modalities we could be here all week. I guess I like to bring the whole body into the massage rather than just one area at a time. And when I am lucky enough to massage a nudist Esalen is a great way to relax and connect with the receiver. It is so rewarding to see the client limp in and when you have done your best, then to see them float out of the office! But there still is nothing like a good sensual massage with your partner to spice up the night or day.

tennis_nude Posted: Aug 11, 2011	I love the discussion and the different points of view. It is always so interesting and mind opening to hear points of view that help you grow as an individual. I like body painting because it always catches the public eye and draws attention to nudism without hitting them over the head with a brick. And in today's world marketing is the key in getting your point across and maybe, just maybe, this might ease people into the thought of having the choice when to wear clothes. Body painting can also be seen as an intermediate step, for someone that is used to wearing clothes all the time, to going nude in front of others. That is what originally attracted me to doing it. For a living, I sculpt bodies with massage, which is an intuitive art form itself. Everyone has different needs with massage and you sculpt the muscles to meet those needs. And so body painting is just using the body as a canvas for artistic expression. Nudity is required to perform it and I agree that it is certainly better than looking at piercings and tatoos - much more creative as well. Just my two cents worth.

tennis_nude Posted: Aug 10, 2011	I agree that Lake Powell is the best place for a nude houseboat trip. We headed up a week long houseboat trip on Powell for nudists and had the time of our life. Went nude water skiing as well as rafting (behind a power boat), jet skiing, camp fires ever night, gorgeous scenery, hiking, ...... You will have the time of your life!!

Also taking certification course in Lymph drainage massage within the next month. I can practice my Swedish, Esalen, and some deep tissue massage techniques for an exchange.

tennis_nude Posted: Aug 1, 2011	I have always found that it is easy to explain things in our society if you follow the dollars. Can't make any money if people don't buy clothes. Look at how many billions are spent on clothes each year! Another good example of not making money is how nudist resorts struggle to make money and have decent facilites. Always operating on a shoestring budget. And additionally making nudity bad is about control. Take the strongest instinctual drive of procreation and make it bad unless it serves the purpose of government or churches. Then when you tie nudity with that and teach it from an early age - is it any wonder that it is so hard to reprogram the computer between the ears of so many. Just my 2 cents worth.

tennis_nude Posted: Jul 29, 2011	Rule 64B7. Florida Administrative Code Massage Practice Act. 64B7-30.001 Misconduct and Neligence in the Practice of Massage Therapy. (5) Failure to appropriately drape a client. Appropriate draping of a client shall includ draping of the butocks and genitalia of all clients, and breasts of female clients, unles the client gives specific informed consent to be undraped. This was formerly 61G11-30.001, amended 9/14/98. I had to go through the 10 hour FL laws course to get licensed in FL. I could only find this buried under the penalty section of the code. Obviously they don't want the informed consent readily found or practiced. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to have the consent included on your general consent form so you are covered. tennis_nude Posted: Jul 26, 2011	In Florida, the law states that one may work on an undraped client as long as there is informed consent. That said, everything else comes down to comfort. So the real question has to do with comfort and what everyone is comfortable with. Nudists are obviously comfortable with their bodies so no draping is legal in FL with both parties consent.

tennis_nude Posted: Jul 26, 2011	Draping is always a dilema for nudists because we operate on the premise of "I just didn't feel like getting dressed today". And coming from a medical background for 37 years parts are parts! Fl is very stringent on their rules but if you are not charging for a massage then the state and local draping rules do not apply. If the client tips you then you are still not charging for the massage and the client has a right to do what they wish with their money. Government has not regulated that yet. There is a limit as to the level that government can intrude on your personal liberties in our nanny state. The main goal for the rules is to curb prostitution and to keep the massage industry professional and above board. I regularly exchange with another nudist and draping is non-existant. Question to ask is if both parties are comfortable with no draping and the client discards the drape then no harm is done and you still can remain professional. Sex is never an issue with a therapist and if it becomes one with either party then the professional relationship needs to be severed. Just my opinion that is not meant to cause angst to anyone who has already given their opinion.

tennis_nude Posted: Oct 5, 2009	Part of being a professional is always conducting yourself as a role model for those that look to you for leadership. It is a huge responsibility and honor that should not be taken lightly. Serena's arrogant criminal behavior and her failure to apologize (not explain but apologize) gives a great deal of insight into her values, moral, and principles. I have had the opportunity to watch the sisters emerge in the past over a three year period at the Pacific Life Open in Indian Wells. Watching their racist father's public behavior in person and the stunts they have pulled for publicity have given evidence of the "chip on the shoulder" attitude which seems to guide their behavior. What is stunning is the apathy to punish the bad behavior for fear of being labled like their father. Maybe with this incident the tides will change and the game will be better for it. Both sisters are extremely talented tennis players that others can only aspire to. Both could not have risen to the level that they are without the other's help by participating in the draws. Both have raised the level of the women's game so that we could be seeing 5 set matches in the future for women as well. After all the women are getting the same prize money as the men for much less work and advertising time. With that said I do hope that Serena's future behavior will rise to the level of her talent and ego will be tempered with responsibility so that the game benefits in the future.

No one ever bothers attacking an enemy that is not a threat - it is a waste of time. So if these "intellectual elites" are so intelligent, why are they not rising above their pond scum level and just admitting that they are scared to death of Palin? tennis_nude Posted: Jun 13, 2009	My wife and I were watching the special on TV that previewed the new transparent roof on Center Court at Wimbledon. It was clear and takes 6 minutes to close - very impressive. The best part of the evening was that Andre, Stephie, Tim, and Kim were there and played mixed doubles, men's singles, and then women's singles. What a treat to see Andre Agase and Stephie Graf playing together for the first time on Center Court. If you get a chance to see it on the Tennis Channel (217 on direct satellite) don't miss it.
