So be VERY careful unless you are prepared to replace the battery. Male or Female!! This is cautionary!!

They have most of the things you listed, and I know they have allowed singles to visit, and they have camping areas as well. Being a married male, my wife and I have gone, as well as me and friends without any mates. My wife was made welcome and felt pretty comfortable being her first nude social experience, even though she doesn't think of herself as a nudist.....

Not too far from us, and a small quiet place which we really felt comfortable. They only had 4 rooms at the time and didnt want to get any bigger at that time so it could be kept as a very private place to relax.

TXPopi Posted: Mar 11, 2013	From the experience of the B&B I have been to and the thinking from my wife's thinking, CO would be the Best way! The patrons could ease into nude or just Jump into nude. My wife was ok with looking into enjoying nudity but NOT READY to be forced by anyone to HAVE to strip nude, until she was ready, IF she chose to. I think having owners that could aid in the transition would need to be a requirement!! I know we both had questions and concerns and having the owners being able to help us understand was a BIG help!!

While my wife does not consider herself a nudest or anything close to it, she has been sleeping topless for about a year now, even in the winter months!!! She wont hang around the house nude nor topless, but she did comment to me the other day that i would be nice to go back to the Resort we had gone to before but ONLY after she got some sun!! At least she was open to the idea of going again!! We did get a above ground pool last summer and we would hang out nude around it if it was just us. All I can suggest is to NOT push too much and let them adjust at their own speed.....

I personally do not carry, but I know some that do always! I do feel a bit safer when around them, and would feel better knowing that there were some around that are trusted with weapons that could protect others if needed!! So I guess you could say that I am FOR Guns (In the PROPER hands of course!!).

I tried to explain to her that it shouldnt be an issue because they would be there for the same reason as we were, but she didnt really see it from my viewpoint. She is not comfortable with her body yet and not as comfortable with being nude as I am. I am hoping we can go back to Wildwood this Spring/Summer so she can experience more comfort in the idea of being nude as well as with others. I dont have a problem in seeing people I might know in the nude, afterall we are doing the same thing with the same interest.....

TXPopi Posted: Feb 1, 2013	I, like others, never heard of AANR or TNS up until a few years ago when I started looking into nudist lifestyle. I agree that these groups could/should be more visable. As far as the church goes, I am a Christian, and am a part of a Baptist church, but I have my opinions as well, so I choose to be quiet around that group but that doesnt mean I am not a nudist, nor does it mean that I support the nudist lifestyle. Because my extended-family is SOOOO involved with the church, I/we, HAVE to be more cautious with our nudist feelings just to keep things civil. Most of our families would be ABSOLUTLY against a nudist lifestyle, and MOSTLY due to Christian/Church upbringings!! I wish I could be more open with my feelings about nudity, but it's just not an option at this point. I have been open to my kids and sisters, but have not been nude around any of them yet, and dont see it happening anytime soon either, thanks to church upbringings!!

TXPopi Posted: Nov 17, 2012	Well I haven't been able to get to our closest resort this year, but I have made a few changes at home. I enlarged our privacy area of the yard and made a new door opening into my shop which allows us to go from the house into the shop area without having to get dressed. We can now enjoy the pool, sun, work in the shop, grill or pretty much what we want in this area. I also got a used hot tub to add to this area also, after I do some work on it. All this allows my wife and others to get more comfortable with being nude on a smaller setting. We do have some friends that we get together with and the guys enjoy nude freedom but the ladies have yet to join us so far.....

TXPopi Posted: Oct 30, 2012	I have to say that IF I could do it again and go back to when my kids were young, I WOULD do it different by being nude around them and ALLOW them to join me nude or not, without making them stay covered as I was raised. I wouldnt say that there is a certain age where they should be allowed to make their own choices, but with our guidance as parents we can guide them along to make some of those choices that will affect the rest of their lives. I would NOT FORCE them toward nudity, but ALLOW them the choice!!

TXPopi Posted: Oct 25, 2012	We have a Whippet Border Collie mix. Our son wanted a dog and we found a litter of pups that were being given away, my son picked out this one and we took him home, took him to the vet to be checked out and all shots, all in good health and condition. I wasnt as excited to get a dog but we got him and have had him about 10 yrs now. I ended up getting very close to him while I was recovering from knee surgery and he has become my little buddy!! He still gets so excited when we throw a ball, he LOVES tennis balls!!! When he was very young I got a can of tennis balls and he would chase all 3 of them around at the same time, kind of like juggling them. He still does this even being a 10 year old dog. He is still very active and loves to run!! He is an outdoor dog now, but comes into the laundry room at times where I have a space set up for him when he doesnt want to be outside. I have a pix of him in my photos....

We were planning to go out for breakfast on Saturday AM, but I had a internet tech scheduled to come out so we ended up cooking breakfast at home. The guys worked together creating custom Omeletes for everyone, then later in the day we grilled burgers for everyone, ALL while nude. The girls got a real treat having 3 naked guys doing all the cooking for the weekend while the girls just sat back and got waited on. They really liked not having to do much more than relax!!

She is a good bit older than me and we were all raised to be clothed and covered at all times, so I guess she is still thinking that way. TXPopi Posted: Sep 15, 2012	We have stayed at 2 different B&B's, One was CO while the other was Clothes only! With both, we had a nice room with all the standard decor and linens, a private bath,... We prefered the CO B&B cause we had the option to be clothes free and roam the grounds as we wanted. We only stayed 1 night at each, but a GREAT breakfast was included with each, made to our wishes. It was a great get-a-way for the night. I guess we could have done the same thing, or close, at a nude resort and much cheaper, but it was an experience for us....at this point, I think we will choose to stay at a nude resort so we have more freedom for less money and do our own thing.

TXPopi Posted: Aug 29, 2012	First off, I was not allowed to be clothes free, not even shirt free, as a child, and I didnt raise my kids with a nude option, but if I could do it all over I WOULD raise them exposed to the nudist lifestyle and they would know that it was ok IF they wanted to be nude at home especially!! With the understanding that not everyone sees it to be ok to be nude so there would need to be times that require clothing. Just my opinion....

TXPopi Posted: Mar 2, 2012	The ONLY CO B&B we have been to was great!!! Small setting but very practical!!! A GREAT ice breaker for my wife!!! We really enjoied ourselves there the one night we we were there!!We wished we had not left, but we had other reservations that were NOT C/O or Nude..... If it had not been for us staying at this place, we may have never checked out any other resorts of any nude lifestyle!!! Chaparalle Resort in Weatherfofd TX is small but very accomidating!!!Especially for anybody that is hessitant to try nudism as a lifestyle!! Don & Pat are very Nice people!!!

Wife has to work late, so I got her a card, Will be making dinner for us and our daughter, doing a little decorating too, and some fresh Strawberries, dipping chocolate and wine for the two of us later tonight. With her work schedule, I had to keep plans flexible.... She thinks we are going out to a local family owned pizza place, I think she will be pleasantly surprised!! I do things like this ever so often, but I dont think she will expect it tonight.

I am not trying to say that anybody here would be that kind of person, it is still a big concern. So on that note, I am TXpopi. If we are to get close enough to get connected later on and we all get comfoftable enough with each other, our true idenity will come out then. I hope this comes across correctly and civil. Another thing is in my opinion is that sometimes our "nickname" is easier to remember at times than our real names....

TXPopi Posted: Dec 12, 2011	Well based on ALL this debate on Introvert or Extrovert, I guess I am a Introvert with a Extrovert undertone. I seem to be the one in everyday life that takes charge, but not that I really want to be the ONE that does. Guess I am one of the introverts that can only stand back just so long, somebody HAS to step up and get it done! That said I DO consider myself to be an introvert, but I guess if you ask some people, I am an Extrovert. I think Most people have that same feeling, Somebody HAS to step up and get it done, but most are to afraid/shy to take that responsibility!! I KNOW there are STRONGER people than I, but those are the ones that step up first, AND THATS OK TOO!!! Not everybody is a leader and not everybody is a follower. I would say that most Extroverts are more likly to be leaders and some Introverts are Followers, BUT thats NOT the RULE! Just My Thoughts.....

Even though my wife still wont hang out nude/topless at home (mostly cause older daughter and our son are home and she is just not ready to be nude around them)she will go out to our little pool topless/nude. She is slowly coming around!! We have a anniversary coming this weekend and we started talking a while back about getting away. MUCH to my surprise, she was thinking about going to a resort of some kind. I showed her the C/O & nudist resorts close to us and she chose Wildwood which is all nude, so we are going there on Friday and stay in a cabin they have till Sunday. I am really hoping she will get very comfortable with this lifestyle and continue at home more. I have really backed off on asking her to join me nude and I think that has helped. Just doing it myself and let her choose if she wants to join or not. Just be patient!! and dont push too hard!!

TXPopi Posted: Jul 10, 2011	Not sure if this qualifies as "Vacation"? I do have a reluctant Wife. Up till about a year ago, she would never do/have anything to do with nudity other that the marital stuff. I had been talking to her about trying it seems like forever!! She finally agreed to go to a C/O B&B with the understanding that if she was too uncomfortable we would leave. And she was not getting naked! We did stay and she was fairly comfortable but only got nude once in the pool. We did talk alot about that trip and it was good. Over the past few monthes we have had a very busy time in our life, so I told her a few weeks ago that on July 8th I wanted her to take off work and I wanted us to go somewhere where we would be nude. She agreed, I gave her choices of where to go by letting her look at the websites. She actually chose WildWood Naturist Resort which is a nudist resort. We did go, we had a good time but she got sunburned. It was a very slow day so we had a lot of time to just experience it all. she would carry her towel over her tummy area when walking around, but would lay out and even float in the pool uncovered! This was a BIG step for her in my opinion. Due to her burn, she did not want to go back on Saturday but was ok with me going and meeting a friend ther which I did. After I got home, we did a lot of talking about all this and even looked at Both of the websites I am member of. I think all this went well, and hope that we can go back soon so we BOTH can experience this lifestyle more together. She did say that she did not mind me going without her at times, but wanted us to go together too!! I wouldnt say that she is a nudist now but she is much more comfortable with it. So, don't push, don't give up hope that it will never happen, cause she may surprise you one day and AGREE to go try it!! Best of luck to ALL of us...

I do live in the country but still have neighbors/ranchers around at times, so We are more careful being exposed when they are out. I want to ask them how they feel about nudity, but havent gotten the courage yet. I dont even think about aircrafts being an issue and we ARE close to the DFW flight plan. We went to a SMALL C/O B&B, we had a really good time and she told the owners that "WE WILL BE BACK" even though she and I had not talked about it. She is not where I would like her to be yet, but she is much closer than a year ago!! Be patient and don't push TOO hard and she may come around slowly....

She is not comfortable being nude around her daughter (which lives with us) or even topless other than getting some sun. Because of the daughter, I cannot go around nude if she is home. We havent talked about going to a resort this summer yet. I'm not giving up though!! Just being patient with her as much as I can.

We just had a discussion from another group about how we should have raised our kids to be more open and not ashamed of nudity. I was very surprised that she agreed with how I was feeling about the subject. My suggestion to any reluctant spouse/partner is to just enjoy your choice with disgression for now and work into as much nude time as possible over time. There will probably be times you will NOT agree, but those are growing pains as a couple in my opinion. You learn to choose your battles not JUST the war....

Third, My wife joined Weight Watchers last January, and has been walking alot with diet changes, which we as a family are doing as well. She has lost 50lbs so far, and I and have lost about 15-20 since I started walking with her during the summer. We are really stopping second helpings and just trying to make BETTER choices. Yes I too need to loose about 20 more lbs. I know I would feel/look better.

I have also gone thru Pain Management a couple of times here in Texas. I dont like the idea of being on Disability, but I didnt have a choice. That allowed me to have insurance and a income based on my work history before things got so bad. I still deal with joint pain on a daily bases but it is not as bad for me as it could be. I will definitaly keep him in my prayers.

TXPopi Posted: Oct 21, 2010	I TOTALLY agree with Fireproof, I REALLY WISH that my wife was truly open to the understanding that I Just Want to enjoy being Naked with likeminded others(Male/Female). At this point she is not there, yet. My back yard is limited, yes I can get Sun or Shade, but At this point, I have NO ONE local to share this lifestyle with, and I CANNOT afford to go to a resort/club to share this lifestyle with at this point. This is not a sexual thing for me, just enjoy being Clothes-Free!!

TXPopi Posted: Oct 21, 2010	OK Fireproof, I agree with your comment about what else are you hiding? I feel like my wife would not accept my choice to be public about nudity. She KNOWS about me wanting to be nude, she just does not agree with my choice at this time. I do not mean to hide anything from her, she just does not understand why I chose to be nude. She still thinks it has everything to do with SEX. How do I get it across to her that SEX has nothing to do with NUDE for me? I know it is not your problem, just looking for help!!! :(
First Time Stories First Time
TXPopi Posted: Oct 18, 2010	My/our first time in a social nude setting was on our 23rd anniversay weekend. We had several times discussed going to a Clothing optional resort, but she would have no part of it. After a Heart to Heart discussion she gave in to go to a Clothing Optional Bed & Breakfast not too far from us. I made the arrangements but I figured she would back out at the last minute. We were both nervous, having never been or done anything like this before. We arrived at the B&B, meet the owners, they gave us a tour, meet the other guests, they showed us to our room we had rented, which overlooked the pool and hot tub area. We were getting settled and getting undressed while looking out at the pool wondering if we were really ready for this. I got naked, my wife got into her new swimsuit. We made our way to the pool, layed out for a while then decided we would go get something to eat. We got back into our street cloths and went to eat. After we got back, we hung out on the porch naked trying to get use to the whole idea a little more. After a while, we made our way back to the pool, me nude, my wife in a covershirt only. We decided to get in the pool but it was a nude area only, so my wife slipped out of her shirt discretly and into the pool. This was her first time at skinny dipping. After a while we all decided to go over to the Saloon. All the men(4 of us) were nude, 2 of the women in cover shirts only, 2 in panties only. We all hung out playing pool and darts and just talking for about 3-4 hours. The next morning we ALL had breakfast on the patio, everybody nude except my wife in a small top and shorts. After breakfast we packed for our next stop which was not a nude place. When we went to check out, my wife told the owners that we had a great time and we would be back. I was shocked since we had not discussed it, but that was ok with me too. We went on to a cabin that I had already prepaid for. We were very disappointed with the cabin and wished we had just stayed at the B&B, but it was 3 hours the other way. Overall we had a Great First Time Experience being nude in a public type setting. We hope to go back to the B&B as money and time allow.

Home Nudists Do you ever do backyard naturism?
TXPopi Posted: Oct 9, 2010	We moved to the country just over a year ago, but we do have a few houses that are closer than we would prefer. We had only 1 straight line privacy fence and no fenced area for our dog. So I put up a cheap fence for the dog, which I will reuse when I can afford to put up a real privacy fence there. In the mean time I added some Bamboo fencing to the cheap fence, which I used last summer for a private sun area. A few weeks ago, we put up a privacy fence on the other side of the house which allows us to enjoy a private area at almost any time we want day or night. We also added a small fire pit. We plan to sit out there naked tonight and enjoy the fire pit and star gaze with a glass or 2 of wine. We hope to add some kind of Tubs or Hot Tub in the future when money allows. My wife is not really into being nude as much, so we have only enjoyed this area nude just the 2 of us, but have enjoyed it with other a few times while clothed.

TXPopi Posted: Oct 5, 2010	Thanks for the add. I have been a closet nudest for a good while, but resently decided to be nude as much a I can. My wife is not a nudest and I have a step-daughter in the house also, which I cannot be nude around, but our college age son that lives at home is ok with nudity. He and I have had discusions about nudity. He is ok with it but the wife is not comfortable with me being nude when the step-daughter is around.
