elguapo Posted: Nov 13, 2011	Well I took the plunge and made reservations for our (she does not know yet, but she'll probably end up reading this) first nude cruise (first cruise period) on the Big Nude Boat in 2013... it is a bit pricey but I was planning on a getaway to Club Orient for our 20th anniversary but had some scheduling conflicts so decided on doing this, and it actually comes out to be a little less pricey...

elguapo Posted: Jul 11, 2011	There are a lot of good artists out there, you just have to look for the one that clicks with you... one of my tats was done by Patty in Morgantown, WV and another done by Deb Brody in Dallas, TX and I would go back to get a tattoo from either of them... when I lived in Hesperia, CA I saw the work of probably the best portrait tattoist, Nikko Hurtado (IMO) and I believe he might still be out there... I guess it all depends on what you are looking to get as many artists are better at one style of tattoing and prefer to stick with that style while some will do anything... just choose the artist carefully and don't be tempted by price... have fun...

I went to read Detach's rant and personally I have not seen a lot of bling at the resort we have visited, nor has anyone talked negatively about my tattoos, in fact an older lady really liked a piece I have on my leg... I along with my wife have really enjoyed our outings and hopefully will continue to meet the same cool people wherever we visit...

Absolute Naturists When Did Nudist Clubs Die?
elguapo Posted: Jun 17, 2011	although I don't think they have died, you could say the current economic crisis, which is not so current, has something to do with it... especially if you don't have one nearby and have to put $75 in your gas tank just to drive to one... we just started going and luckily have 4 clubs within two hours drive so we will continue to try to keep them alive... :)

elguapo Posted: Jun 14, 2011	I helped my wife (laloca) join this site as she wanted to see what nudist were like before we ventured out... at the beginning I explained to her what Andy, SB, and others have mentioned on several post about getting bombarded by guys so she would ask me whenever she got a request... I told her to do what she felt like and that way she'll figure it out... "For you with Premium accounts but not keen on doubling the monthly dues, no worries — leave one as is and make the other a basic member profile" Before she left for PR, my wife asked about doing just that which surprised me so when she gets back she'll, more than likely, get the Premium membership...

elguapo Posted: Jun 10, 2011	The only club we have been to is nude only... we have only been twice and the first time was during a clothing optional 5k event (although everybody was nude)... the first time, my wife, who was reluctant, took about one hour to shed her clothes and we went by the pool and she was nude... during the run she was a course volunteer and she wore shorts with no top... during dinner she wore a shirt with no bottom... during the dance she wore a sun dress... so I thought not bad for her (and my) first time... I was totally nude the whole weekend... the second time we went she was totally nude within the first five minutes but for some reason she would wear shorts to the pool area and then take them off and walk around with nothing... during dinner she wore a half pareo and seemed to get along fine as some of the female members were also wearing a bottom cover... I was totally nude... our next venture we are going to to a club that has somewhat of a CO policy where they require all males to be totally nude and CO for women and children... once I experience that, then maybe I'll throw my opinion out there... :)

elguapo Posted: Jun 9, 2011	I agree with SB... if you have enough friends plan somewhat of a takeover during one of the weekends that the club does not have any plans and maybe the people that are already there will jump in... if I had more nudist friends I would do something like that but all my nudist friends are the people at the retirement club :)

elguapo Posted: May 31, 2011	I am a member of TNS and a non-landed club... earlier this month, after my wife (laloca) arrived from Puerto Rico, we visited our first resort and I thouroughly enjoyed the visit and I believe the wife did also although the whole time she kept saying "just for you"... we went again this past weekend and I can say it just seems to get better... this last visit was sort of her idea, although after she reads this she'll say it was mine, and that is fine with me cause she jumped right in... after the two visits I was considering becoming a member since the $600 membership will pay for itself in 20 visits... she leaves again this week and when she comes back in July we'll probably go check out another resort... after that we'll probably check out another (there are four within two hours drive) and then decide on a favorite to frequent and hopefully become members...

Texas Nudists and Resorts First Time
elguapo Posted: May 3, 2011	Myself and the wife went to our first resort this past weekend... we camped out at Wildwood where I ran the 5k... we arrived on Friday and were given a quick tour and went to set up our tent... at first I stay clothed while setting up and once complete I took it all off while the wife was having a little more of an issue with it all... I went to the clubhouse to use the bathroom and to my surprise when I got back to the tent my wife was totally nude, so we went to hang out at the pool for a bit... later that day we went to eat dinner at one of the member's trailer and met several more people... everyone there was friendly... during the 5k the next day, I kept thinking to myself, "why am I doing this?"... they had a dance that night and we sat at a table with some members and we danced and it was as if we had known these people for a long time... Sunday at around 3:00 am a storm started rolling through the area and I thought our tent was gonna get blown down but it held up and no water got in... the cold front was a different story as the temps dropped to the upper 40's and I had to put on some clothes for the first time since Friday... I also got to meet GrinAndBareIt as he was participating in the race... it was an awesome experience and I can't wait to do it again...

I ckecked it out again to see if it was the same company and it is with the exception that they replaced that picture and now have a lady on one knee and not quite as revealing as the previous picture... kind of iffy for a company promoting naturism (or so they say) to show pictures like that if you ask me...

elguapo Posted: Jan 8, 2011	this starts 20 years ago with my first tat, a small rose, means I was really drunk at the time... my next tat, a skull with top hat, means I became addicted to tats because of that first drunken moment and want more... my third, a longhorn across my upper back, 17 years after the first one, means I waited too long to get it and had to wait until I didn't have to buy anymore diapers in order to afford it... my fourth, a star with ropes, is part of my search for the artist who will do my next work... my next, in the planning stage, which will be the most meaningful to me it's going to be a half sleeve of my four daughters' birth flowers...
