I don't think everyone knows that it has been legalized. It seems to me to be one of those laws where they say "okay we'll pass it, but we won't make an issue of it, and that way not many people will find out about it." When women start going topless at beaches you know the prudes will come out in force to make an issue of it.

Hi, thanks for the info, I didn't know that about Southwick Beach. I know in Canada alot of the provincial parks have areas where nudism is allowed, but I didn't know some NY State parks did. Thanks again.

I live about 20 miles from there and I haven't found a place yet. There are a couple state areas around where I live that I have hiked nude. I don't know what would have happened if I had run into someone.

This happened Oct 21, I believe that's the right date, in Springfield, VA. From what I understand the police are trying to make the charge stick. They are passing out pictures and flyers to the neighborhood trying to find more witnesses. They are definately contaminating the jury pool by doing that.

Has anyone heard any more about this case? I now he was arrested because some woman was walking through his yard (tresspassing) with her son and looked into his window and saw him naked. She called the cops and now the cops are canvassing the neighborhood looking for other people that may have seen him naked.

I waqs just wondering if anyone has heard any more on this? I know they have been discussing this in one of the other groups, but I was wondering what everyone here thought.

When I first heard about it I couldn't believe it, I thought the radio announcer was joking. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard, and I agree with all your comments. It's the prudishness of our country that thinks if a person is walking around naked, they must be a pervert. I think the woman should be the one on the hook here. I sit around my apartment nude all day and I've see people walk by my window and none of them have looked in. I'm just glad that woman doesn't live near me.

One final thought, I hope all of the nudist associations in this country come to this mans aid.

I just recieved notice that Empire Haven is hosting the Northeast Naturist Festival, Aug. 4th thru 9th. Is anyone planning on attending? I would really like to, but I'm not sure I can make it. Let everyone know if you are planning to make the festival.

I just got back from my camp, and I got to thinking. The lake is still frozen over. I don't think I'd icefish in the nude, I might get frostbite in places I don't want frostbitten! OUUUCH!!!

Here's one I like from CFI and a saying I like to use, which also happened to be on CFI, and is very sound advise.

I thought we'd start with introductions and I may as well start. I emailed you so you know my name is Steve, I'm originally from the Syracuse area but now I live in Hammond, a small town about 100 miles north of Syracuse. Until recently I haven't been able to travel, so I haven't been to any resorts. I intend to change that next year. I would be interested in hearing about your experiences with the resorts in NY or other nearby states.

A little more about me, I have a camp on Black Lake, also in northern NY, that I spend the summers at, I enjoy cooking, hockey, music, going to c/o beaches, boating with friends, and meeting new people, especially those that enjoy the nudist lifestyle.

Yes KAI, I know that many of the people that visit resorts are seniors, but I also know my neighbors. They are not the type that would even remotely consider going nude except in the bathtub.

I can't think of a place I wouldn't want to be nude, but I do have to agree with KAI, I wouldn't want to be nude near a restaurant fry station.
