If I answer my door nude all the time I could be arrested (maybe not convicted but certainly arrested) or if someone could see me nude from a public street/sidewalk I could be arrested also. These are ways society controls public views and an arrest re-enforces those views to others as something wrong was done. Changing that will take a lot of patience and understanding from us as nudists and from the public at large as a more even middle ground is established. I wish it could be a faster process ...

Nude Massage Draping
Fla_sun Posted: Jun 29, 2011	I've gone to Caliente spa and had a great massage there (therapist clothed even at nudist resort) and would like to try the massage table by the pool sometime. It is odd that state paw allows nude resort to offer massage but "requires" draping at massage table. My therapist had no objection as long as I did not do or ask for anything out of line for a therapeutic massage. I'll be back when I can get there.

My maid invited me to her wedding and she found out one day when she showed up to clean house and I was nude. She just said 'its your house be comfortable' Others have responded equally low key.

Scanning the web pages for a movie gets boaring and sometimes you get to meet people ate the stores set and it is more social than a 'video postcard'

Is that true and how would you investigate this? My wife tries the nude resort in Jamacia and said "not for me" but she likes it when I'm nude at the house but I want to get out of the house once in a while

Fla_sun Posted: Apr 13, 2010	I'd like to get a 9' noserider and a wave you could ride for a mile or so down the beach. The walk back would would suck but I'd probably surf all day if I could. Apollo and Playalinda are too short beach front to do this and for some reason federal parks don't allow surfboards, a ranger wouldn't let me in once. Go figgure-

The therapist usually states it may be the law but if I remove it they won't put it back, or they'll 'get around to it later' wich is usually right before they leave. I've only had two therapists force the drap issue.

Not all the time but enough that a robe or shorts is a safer choice. Also the maid has shown up and walked in on me sunning on my deck and not had any issues. She said "its your house - what do I care" I love her.

In a social setting it is appropriate to cover up etc till the moment passes. If you are thinking about sex the moment won't pass and then that can be a bad issue.

For women, choosing to be nude is usually associated with strippers and whores - not the mots positive thought for a woman contemplating social nudity. Until this social stigma is reversed few women will explore nudity socially. oversimplified statement - the issues are much deeper and broad reaching to discuss in a single posting.

Once people see that it is not a headonistic free-for-all then they become acclimated to change the views and enjoy the nude experience. I do think there should always be a small area clothing-optional for this purpose. Seldom dose one suddenly feel liberated enough to strip clothes and social views at the same abrupt time. Counter point, strict nude areas should be enforced so when someone says 'whats in that area' you can say take off your clothes and find out . . . That can be a positive motivator.

Fla_sun Posted: Feb 12, 2010	at first when my wife and I were married we would both be nude frequently watching tv or cooking laundry etc. then our 11yo (now 13) stated she felt uncomfortable (more like uncomfortable w herself as she began puberty) with us being nude anywhere other than our bathroom. So wife reacted by restricting shedding our clothes to our bedroom ONLY! I felt this a tad over the top. For the past two years things have been getting even more restrictive for me. Any suggestions on how to reverse some out of control feelings and restrictions?

Once for the Summer Solstace about 10 of us (6 m, 4 fm) went to the local mall stripped and ran in from all the different enternces and jumped into the fountain in the middle splashed around for a few seconds and bolted for our cars! Amazingly no one got caught and we made the local news. We didn't even have any alcohol til after we finished the fountain run. Crazy college days . . . glad I survived.

Fla_sun Posted: Jan 25, 2010	I have a fav Breakfast - on half bagel of your choice put smoked salmon with capers and a light amount of cream cheese (just enough to 'glue' capers to salmon) then top it off with thick tomato slices and red onions. Quick and simple and travels well with a napkin to catch drips.
