| time to walk the talk: 2011 is the year for me to commit to purchase of semi-rural/rural acreage somewhere in lower 48 or Hawaii... naturist/nudist friendly, of course -- best if there are fellow naturists neighbors... also nice if in proximity to other green (or getting there), earth loving progressive, local economically/permaculturally organically/holistically minded folks... must be well or spring fed, will do septic (both existing, better)... then add solar, windmill, battery storage... at least 5~10 acres with trees, open space, slope, fresh water creek/pond preferred... existing buildings (house, garage/pole-shed, etc.) preferred... still need the internet for online work -- reliable wired-DSL/wireless is OK, satellite sucks... no loans, 100% cash... saving money recycling foreclosure is fine, too... will be checking out warm climes on spring tour -- suggestions and feedback most welcome -- email me here or at: kb@aquashizen.com | |

| i have had silver membership in Laguna del Sol twice, whenever i lived close enough to take advantage of the package. in fact, during extended summer business trip to Stockton, CA, (40mi due south of LDS), i just put up a tent by the lake and lived there for a month. a great time for sunrise meditation, hot tub soak, swim and shower before heading south to work for the day... both times of Laguna membership i was a Single member. i did mention in another thread in this group, that my first meeting with two wonderful women i met online, were at LDS, so it is was nice to share the experience with them, too. also in northern California, there are the sister resorts of Harbin and Sierra Hot Springs -- i have visited both accompanied by friends and as single. the vibe there is different from a usual nudist resort -- more quiet, meditative, with focus on natural healing, purification and general reflection, though they do have some soaking spaces set aside for regular socializing, too. regardless of the venue, i do not view my attendance as opportunity to suddenly "click" with any single woman... i go with positive outlook to be polite and sociable with all, whether individuals, couples, groups of people and usually end up with a few new friends. if i chance to meet someone special, of course, that is fine, too, but really i do not stress over that part. on a very practical point, though, especially when the sun is high and strong -- it is ALWAYS nice to have someone help rub sunscreen on your back! | |

| greetings to all! though a charter member of NCH, i have become more active paid member on the site and various groups' subscriber and interest in only the last few months... so i guess an intro is in order. if you read my posting to other threads here and in other groups, i mention being up here in brrrr cold Wisconsin, though of Californian origin. this has been mostly a temporary relocation to help my recently departed mom through the strange journey called Alzheimers... now am free to move about again -- planning a "clock-wise" trip through the lower 48 come spring time -- ending up back on the left coast. from WI plan to visit friends in DE, MD, VA then stop over for awhile in Asheville NC -- would very much like to meet kindred naturist spirits along the way. am seriously thinking about relocating to NC so any suggestions and contacts would be much appreciated. rest you all can grok in my profile. for those of you, who have written but a few words in your own profile, i highly recommend taking some time to reflect and express to your best ability, something special and unique about yourselves. i tend to make and accept friendship requests with members, who have taken the time to build out their profiles and pics (no need to be nude) and let their personality and spirit shine through. | |

| my experiences with meeting naturist/nudists via online forums has been quite positive: through NudistFriends.com i met a very nice woman -- our first physical meeting was by the new lodge/indoor pool @ Laguna del Sol. we dated for awhile and later graduated to close friendship. through Match.com: similar experience and LDS as shared common ground. through Singlenudist.com: met kindred spirit, loving partner, now lifelong friend. though not in relationship we always take day-trips to Harbin Hot Springs together, whenever i make it back out to NCal. through POF PlenyofFish.com (highly recommended): have met and befriended several wonderful naturist women. similar experiences on DharmaMatch.com and VeggieDate.com, which are more geared to folks with similar cosmic/holistic outlook. the common thread through ALL of these sites has been essentially the same handle "aquashizen" and same profile. in my profile i mention that i am a "naturist", which is understood by like-minded spirits and perhaps not by others -- no matter. key is going inside and being sincere about who you really are, values and indicate similar needs for that in a partner. also this underscores s subtle nuanced difference between the meaning of "naturist" vs "nudist" -- for me and those who respond, it seems to mean feeling natural and comfortable being clothes free whenever climate and environment permit. there are many modern progressive spiritual people out there, who are OK with, say, being naked & natural at the hot springs, camping or beach but, at same time, would not call themselves "nudist" or being nude for being nude's sake and do not feel the urge to join AANR, TNS or hang at the nearest landed club every other weekend. comparing this site Nudhistclubhouse.com to SingleNudist.com -- i have similar handle and profiles on both but have stop subscribing to SingleNudist as, frankly, IMHO, it has slowed down quite a bit, with all the same faces on there, year after year. as for comments about women being "perfectionists" -- the same can be said about men, too. relationships are not a "cookie-cutter, one size fits all" affair. love, trust, and commitment are still common core values. though i have met many wonderful women, who became close friends and have had partnerships with a couple of them, it does not mean that relationship "failed"... in each case it was either realizing we had differences in lifestyle preference (other than enjoying being clothes free) and/or logistics -- my need to return to Midwest (thus separate) due to family (helping sick mom) in Wisconsin. all in all i am very grateful for the opportunity to meet and make FRIENDS, share QT and experiences, earn mutual trust, which establishes the base from which we can explore more possibilities if the chemistry clicks. | |

| ditto with Peter on use of coconut oil. having living in Asia many years with many of those in India and tropics, coconut oil is popular with everyone. i prefer the natural version, which retains the coconut smell and taste. some folks prefer the more neutral denatured unscented version. coconut oil is also part of Yoga tradition in daily self-massage after morning bath/shower. in winter it helps retain moisture in dry skin and warms the joints, and in summer, it has the opposite cooling effect. jojoba oil is also nice. agreeing with Peter and others, when sharing oil massage with your S/O, the edible taste factor enhances the experience for sure. at those times, even extra-virgin olive oil has been found quite enjoyable. | |

| though not a CMT myself, i've been fortunate to learn and trade with friends/partners who are licensed. in this format, trust is established and , as no money is exchanged, the issue of draping vs full nudity for both giver/receiver has not been a concern other than working in a indoor/outdoor space that is warm enough to remain natural. when i have paid for the massage from licensed therapist, i always respected the rules and wishes of the practitioner. like others i agree, it should not be a major problem in naturist/nudist setting. even in that environment if the giver chooses to be clothed or lightly covered it no big deal. of course, personally, i prefer to be totally free and undraped, ambient temperature permitting -- as long as the provider is comfortable, clothed or otherwise, is fine as the good loving vibes flow, regardless. | |

| though not certified, i have been fortunate to have/had CMT friends and partners, a few of them naturists, too, from/with whom to learn and share by trading massages. i understand the challenges that many therapists face, when making a career in the healing and body work field. for me there is a major and subtle vibrational difference when sexual energy is combined with massage. intimate sexuality w/ or w/o massage is an expression of love shared with one's significant other -- not a casual or recreational encounter or pastime. being a physical, tactual encounter, there is no question that massage is a sensual as well as healing experience and infusing a loving vibe into the exchange enhances it on many levels. the natural endorphins generated and shared energy field between the giver and receiver are in themselves sublime and satisfying without extending to the urges for quick release of sexual stimulation. | |

| Lupin is a wonderful laid back place. the yurts are great for camping, the panorama view from the pool deck nice, too. situated on terraced sloping terrain, one is guaranteed to get a hearty dose of CV workout just moving from spot to spot all day. i especially love the pool under the stars at midnight, when most are sleeping. and, Muse, thanks for the offer... hope to be back home to the Bay Area in April and May and live just a few miles north in hills of Los Altos. | |

| i have many fond memories of the outdoor hot springs (rotemburo / onsen) in Japan. the best time to go is Fall, Winter and Spring, when the air is chilled or crisp and the warm water so inviting. same can be said for Harbin and Sierra Hot Springs in northern California. even then, after a hot or warm soak, the best part is the plunge into the cold water pool or waterfall. | |

| as my "aquashizen" handle(and domain, too: http://aquashizen.com) attests, i love being natural in water in all forms, whether it be a lake, pond, bay, hot spring, hot tub... all are great and, of course, best when share with good friends. | |

| try to drink lots of water daily to flush out toxins; lemonade or any other citrus based drink is always good; still like my "genmai cha" from Japan days -- it's a green tea with toasted brown rice kernels giving nice rounded earthy flavor; cold or iced "mugi cha", a non-caffeinated roasted barley drink (same base as Postem), is a universal favorite all around the Orient. | |

| just shy of my 18th birthday, having already sampled, explored alcohol and various hallucinogens, my realization was to go natural and stop all external consumption of these substances... channeled my energy into yoga, meditation, organic, vegetarian lifestyle with no regrets, whatsoever... a loving natural high is so much better! | |
