Bigbare, I'm a practicing conservative Catholic and enjoy the life at home and at DeAnza Springs Resort in Jacumba, CA. I grew up in the San Fernando Valley and moved to San Diego in 1971. SoCal is the best place on earth.

I love East Anglia. I was stationed at RAF Alconbury, right up the road from Lakenheath. We used to go to Lakenheath for the big BX. Cambridge is a lovely city. You've certainly been to some interesting places. I was originally a security policman and my first base was RAF Greenham Common, home to the Ground Launch Cruise Missle and lots of peace women! From there I went to Sembach AB, Germany, then back to Alconbury where I cross trained into finance and met and married my wife. I came back to the states in 94 to March AFB, CA. I was there two years til it became a reserve base then headed to Whiteman AFB MO where I homesteaded for 9 years. I did a year in Korea at Kunsan AB then to Vance AFB in Enid, OK where I am currently stationed. This is like home to me, since I am originally from Tulsa, two hours down the road. I am currently deployed to Afghanistan. When I get back in Feb I will have 8 months to my retirement from the AF.

Thanks for the add. I look forward to getting to know you. I'm sure the air force is very different from when you were in. Where were you stationed. There were a lot more bases in more far flung places back then. Of all the places I have been stationed I enjoyed England the most. I think that is the reason I joined the AF as opposed to another branch, I knew there were AF bases in England.
