Wigs For Kids is a non-profit organization based in Ohio that helps children to be themselves. This aligns well with the naturist community because the community helps us to be more of ourselves. We host the event at Cypress Cove nudist resort in Kissimmee, FL on Labor Day weekend. Nature Hair's owner Carol will provide cut and style for hair donors at any time and save the hair for us. To make an appointment call 407-518-2613. They request hair to be 14 inches long, our previous flyer says 12 inches, and they have never returned those who donated 13 inches. The funds are raised by our 50/50 raffles at our bowling events, cookie sales and raffles at the benefit event. In the past we have auctioned off resort stays. Our current raffle items include a small swimming pool, a 4-man tent, portable massage chair with a book of techniques, several coolers and bags full of items. We have already received donations of resort stays to Lake Como and Suwanee Valley Resort. We may have more donations prior to the event. The current plan is to sell chocolate chip, low sugar chocolate chip, and a vegan gluten free almond joy cookie. The cookies will be $5 each package. Our baker can make other cookies if preordered or purchased ahead of the event. Preorders can also buy dough balls so you can bake your own. The raffle tickets will be $5 each. We will have specials that $20 you get 5 tickets. We will give you 30 tickets and a cooler for $100 purchased. There will be buckets by the items to put your raffle tickets into. You should be present for the items being raffled each hour from 12:00 to 3:00 near the DJ booth. All tickets must be in place by 2:30 pm on September 5, 2026. You do not have to be present for the resort stays so we will need your contact information on those tickets. We can have someone place your tickets in the bucket if you are purchasing for the resort raffle and cannot be at the event. Payment can be cash, check, Cash App, PayPal and Venmo.
